Any other parents still constantly hearing 6 7 😂Surprisingly there are quite a few places across Disneyland that bring on the references!

There are no words to describe my extreme joy and excitement about the @plandisneypanel. What an amazing, amazing group of people. It’s been a whirlwind in the best way and I can’t wait to see our story unfold as training continues on board the Disney Wish. ✨ #hosted #plandisney #plandisneypanel #plandisney2025 by @thehappiestmagic

I’ll remember this planDisney training trip for the rest of my life. During our time together, we learned, laughed, explored, almost won trivia (multiple times 😅), bonded over our love of Disney, and so much more. I still have to pinch myself to realize that this isn’t all a dream. I’m completely honored to be in the company of such amazing people as part of the Class of 2025. I already miss you all so much!

All three Disneyland Resort hotels are amazing, but here’s a shoutout to Pixar Place Hotel where we stayed last month. It’s typically the most affordable of the three Resort hotel and is truly unique. The theming is so prominent and I especially appreciate how whimsically artistic it feels.

Pro tip: Visit the pool deck in the morning when everyone else is at the parks. We felt like we had the place to ourselves, especially the waterslide. (Note that the pool area is currently closed for refurbishment but will reopen soon) taken in Pixar Place Hotel by @thehappiestmagic

The Matterhorn is such an icon of @disneyland – I thought it would be fun to capture photos of it from different vantage points around the park. I can’t decide which is my favorite! taken in Disneyland by @thehappiestmagic

My mom has been collecting Disney figurines since she was a kid. She’d buy one each year when her family would go to Disneyland, and she kept that tradition going as an adult. I remember looking for these in the parks when I was little! Once they stopped making them, we’d explore antique shops in Old Towne Orange to find ones she didn’t have. She and I spent some time looking at them all today. Aren’t these cool? by @thehappiestmagic

My kids have fallen in love with Autopia, and of course they are always the drivers! ⚠️ It’s quite a bumpy ride but we have fun anyway. Wheel trick was a bust with my 5yo, only because she refused to try it 😆🫨 The part I get nervous on is the end when I always think we’re going to overshoot the space where we’re supposed to stop lol

Disneyland Resort in the heat? I’ve learned a thing or two this summer. Read the caption for each image to see what works for us! >>

Be at the park early to beat the crowds and enjoy a few hours of rides before the heat gets too strong. The gates usually open around a half-hour early, allowing you to scan into the park and wait behind the ropes. That way, you can get right to the fun when the park officially opens!

Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing, comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunglasses. If you have long hair, consider wearing it in a ponytail or braid to help keep your neck cool. Put on sunscreen before you arrive and bring extra so you can reapply it throughout the day.

Pack a portable fan and a cooling towel. These are also available for purchase in the parks, usually at merchandise stands or larger retail shops, and at the hotel shops. Consider renting a locker to store anything you don’t need immediate access to so you can travel a little lighter.

There are bottle-filling stations across the Resort where you can fill up a reusable water bottle, as well as water fountains. You can also request a free cup of water at quick-service dining locations.

Bring electrolyte drink packets to add to your water, or pick up a Powerade from one of the drink carts. Cold fruit, pickles, and other snacks can be helpful, too.

A Dole Whip, frozen apple juice, ice cream, frozen banana, or another cold treat is especially refreshing!

Make an advanced reservation at a table-service restaurant so you can refuel with some tasty food while also getting out of the sun. You can also try joining the walk-up list in the Disneyland mobile app if it’s available.

If you’re opting for a quick-service spot, try eating early for the best chance of finding a table indoors or in the shade, depending on the location.

Consider the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If attractions are important to you, this can be a great way to reduce the amount of time you spend waiting in line, especially since some queues are partially outdoors and in the sun. You’ll potentially fit more into your day while spending less time standing in the heat.

Why I love Lamplight Lounge in California Adventure >>

You can feel the creativity here with all the artwork, décor, and thoughtful nods to Pixar animation. It’s such a special place. And if you’re seated outside, you have a great waterfront views! >>

We were floored to be seated at this super cool table with lots of little cars under the glass. Apparently there are three hidden Lightning McQueen cars here in the table! >>

Like how fun is this? >>

Some of the concept art and toys representing Pixar animation >>

Brussels Caesar is a plant-based dish that comes with pine nuts, garlic croutons, a roasted red pepper sauce, and Parmesan. There also have a plant-based burger that doesn’t require modifications (IMPOSSIBLE beef) >>

We were able to get the kids the pasta without cheese sauce - it comes with two sides. They were very happy with this >>

The star is a plant-based brownie and ice cream dessert with a sauce and fresh berries. This did not last more than two minutes at our table >>

Reservations can be hard to get in advance, but I’ve had good luck joining the walk-up list in the Disneyland app (you have to be near the restaurant), or even asking the hosting team. Until next time, Lamplight Lounge! taken in Lamplight Lounge by @thehappiestmagic

Browsing the vegan eats at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival makes me nostalgic for the Disney California Food & Wine Festival in 2023. Paradise Garden Grill had an entirely plant-based menu for the festival. 😲 Swipe for more >>

The Bulgogi Fried Rice had kimchi, “egg”, pickled cucumbers, green onions, and sesame seeds. I got it so many times and still try to recreate it at home. >>

The Buffalo Mac and Cheese was topped with roasted buffalo cauliflower, ranch, and a carrot and celery salad. The veggies added a nice crunch to the noodles and sauces. I was also able to get the mac plain for the kids. >>

The Peach-Blueberry Cobbler was so delicious and refreshing. I loved the chunks of peach. >>

Who misses the tabs? There was also Torta de Chilaquiles and IMPOSSIBLE Gyro Fries but I didn’t get those as much because I was obsessed with the other items. >>

The last few years of festival and seasonal menus at the Disneyland Resort haven’t had a plant-based selection like this, but here’s to hoping for the future! 💚💚 All in all, we do have lots of clearly marked #vegan options in the parks on a regular basis, so for that I’m thankful. 🌱 Also, looks like I’ll be at EPCOT before their Food & Wine Festival ends so I’m excited to try some stuff! taken in Disney's California Adventure Park by @thehappiestmagic

Looking at more photos, this time going back to 2017 when we visited Japan. Tokyo DisneySea has grown since that trip and we didn’t have time to see Tokyo Disneyland. I can’t wait to take the kids here someday. 💙💙💙 I still dream about that ramen btw - it’s from a place inside Tokyo Station called T’s Tantan. It was like a hot and sour ramen with crispy chick’n. *drool* 🤤 by @thehappiestmagic
