We’ve been outside all summer 🛹

Summit Skate Collective has been bringing skaters together at Summit Skate Park, creating a space for people to learn, ride, hang out, and build community.

We’ve been able to make it happen through Summit Community Network and our partnership with the Park District, and it’s been really cool seeing this grow over the summer.

Now that the weather’s getting cold, our season is coming to an end soon. But we’d love to keep this going year-round.

If you know of an indoor space, gym, warehouse, or anywhere that could help us keep skating through the winter, hit us up. We’re looking for a spot and would love to connect.

This is what we’ve been building all summer. Come check us out. ❤️🛹

⛈️⛈️⛈️

Unfortunately, this Thursday’s Summit Skate Collective class is cancelled due to the rain. 🌧️

We know we’ve had to cancel a few classes lately because of the weather, and we’re just as bummed about it as you are. We hate missing time on the ramps with you all, but sometimes Chicago has other plans.

Thanks for sticking with us through the rainy days. We’ll be back at it as soon as the weather lets us. 🛹❤️

See you soon! by @theharborchicago

🚨 Progression Sessions with Summit Skate Collective 🚨

Every Thursday from 6:00–7:30 PM, we’re coming together to skate, learn, encourage, and level up as a community.

Progression Sessions are all about building confidence, pushing past personal limits, and celebrating every win—big or small. Whether you’re learning your first drop-in or dialing in a new trick, this is a space where everyone is welcome and every accomplishment is worth cheering for.

A huge shoutout to our friend Juju, who conquered his axle stall roll-in this week! 🙌 Watching him stay determined, put in the work, and finally stick it was one of those moments that reminds us what this community is all about. The excitement, encouragement, and cheers from everyone made the session even more special.

Come skate with us, support each other, and keep elevating together. We rise higher when we progress as a community.

🛹 THURSDAY PROGRESSION SESSIONS 🛹

Looking for a place to skate, progress, and be part of a solid community?

Summit Skate Collective is a weekly gathering for skaters ages 12–18 who want to grow their skills on the board—and grow as people off the board too.

Every Thursday from 6:00–7:30 PM, we come together for progression sessions built around skating, encouragement, and community. No pressure, no ego—just a space where skaters support each other, push each other, and build something real together.

Rooted in community and faith, this is a place where character matters just as much as tricks, and everyone is welcome to show up as they are.

📍 Thursdays | 6:00–7:30 PM
🛹 Ages 12–18
🤝 The Harbor Chicago x Summit Park District x Summit Community Network

Bring your board. Bring a friend. Let’s grow together.
