❤️‍🔥Getting founders out of the middle of their business
💸 $6M+ in revenue now running on systems I built
✨ Find what's keeping you stuck in 2 weeks ↓
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This client had everything most founders say they want. Good people, good project managers, systems that worked. And she was still in the middle of all of it 🫣

That’s the thing about operational problems. They rarely show up where you’d look first. I walked in thinking quality standards and decision authority, and her team showed me something else entirely. It’s why I always talk to the people doing the work. The org chart tells you who’s supposed to be doing what, and the team tells you who actually is.

If you have good people and good systems and you’re still in the middle of everything, DM me AUDIT. by @thehausofwhit

I don’t expect founders to know exactly what they need before they work with me…

Bc honestly, if they did, they probably wouldn’t need me.

Most people come in convinced they have a software problem, a hiring problem or a communication problem because that’s the symptom they feel every day.

Then we start pulling on the thread.

We realize the software isn’t the issue. It’s that nobody agreed on how work should move before buying another platform.

The team isn’t the issue.
They’re trying to operate inside a business that’s evolved faster than the way it’s being run.

The founder isn’t the issue either. They’ve simply become the solution to so many small problems that nobody noticed it becoming their full-time job.

That’s what Founder-Proof™ really is.

Not making your business less personal, sterile and a hollow corporate machine.

But building a business that’s finally capable of protecting everything you’ve worked so hard to build…including you. by @thehausofwhit

I have absolutely no interest in teaching founders how to become better firefighters.

There are enough people on the internet handing out productivity hacks, delegation tips and software recommendations like they’re the missing piece.

Sometimes those things help. Most of the time, they’re treating the symptom instead of asking why the symptom exists in the first place.

I’ve always been far more interested in what sits underneath the chaos.

Why does one founder take a two-week vacation and their business barely notices, while another steps away for a long weekend and comes back to 147 Slack notifications, three “urgent” client emails and a team that’s been waiting for them to make a decision since Thursday?

That’s the conversation I want to have.

Not because I think founders should disappear from their business, but because I think they’ve earned the right to spend more time being founders and less time being the emergency contact for every department.

If that’s the kind of business you’re trying to build, you’re in the right place. Welcome to Haus of Whit. by @thehausofwhit

You know what drives me absolutely insane?

Finding out someone on a team has been spending hours every week doing something that could’ve been automated.

And nobody’s questioned it because that’s just how we’ve always done it.

I’m talking about things like:
→ Manually copying client information from one platform to another.
→ Creating the same onboarding tasks every time someone signs a contract.
→ Sending the same follow-up messages over and over.
→ Updating three different spreadsheets with information that already exists somewhere else.
→ Chasing people for updates that could be triggered automatically.
Individually, these tasks don’t seem like a big deal.

10 minutes here. 15 minutes there.

But multiply that across your team, every single week, and suddenly you’re paying people to spend a ridiculous amount of time moving information around instead of doing the work you actually hired them for.

And here’s the thing.

My first question isn’t “How do we automate this?”
It’s “Why are we doing this in the first place?”

Because sometimes the answer is automation.

Sometimes it’s simplifying the workflow.

And sometimes it’s deleting the task entirely because it serves absolutely no purpose anymore.

That’s the part I love.

Finding the work that’s eating up your team’s time and figuring out how to get rid of it.

Not everything needs a fancy automation.

And not every problem needs another hire.

Sometimes your business just needs someone to look at how the work is actually getting done and ask a few very obvious questions that nobody’s thought to ask. by @thehausofwhit

Here’s what I’d be looking for:

💬 “Can I send this to the client?”
Why does this need approval? Is it genuinely a high-stakes decision, or does someone responsible for client delivery still need permission to do their job?
I’m looking at decision-making authority and quality control.

💬 “Who’s handling the onboarding?”
Who actually owns the client experience from start to finish?
Because having five people responsible for five different tasks doesn’t mean anyone is accountable for the outcome.
I’m looking at ownership and handoffs.

💬 “Which project should we prioritize?”
Does the team know what matters most? Can they make trade-offs when deadlines compete? Or does the founder have to make that call every single time?
I’m looking at priorities, capacity, and decision-making.

💬 “Any update on this?”
Can someone open the project management system and see exactly where things stand? Or is Slack the only way anyone knows what’s happening?
I’m looking at project visibility.

💬 “Sorry to bother you, but...”
This one’s interesting. Why does someone feel like they’re bothering another person just to get the information they need?
I’m looking at communication norms, access to information, and whether the team feels confident making decisions.

Now, one message doesn’t tell me a business is broken. It’s the patterns I’m interested in.

The same questions. The same approvals. The same person getting tagged whenever something gets stuck.

That’s where I start digging into the actual workflows, responsibilities, and decision-making structure.

Because you can mute Slack, create another channel, or write another communication SOP.

But if you haven’t fixed WHY those questions keep coming up?

You’ve just made the problem quieter. Not better.

Curious: What’s the one question your team asks you every single week? by @thehausofwhit

One thing I’ve learned working inside founder-led businesses is that having an operations person and having operational leadership are not necessarily the same thing. 👀

You can have a full team, expensive software, and someone technically responsible for managing projects.

And still have a founder who is making every decision, answering every question, and wondering why nothing ever seems to get finished.

The difference is in what happens between the idea and the execution 🏁

• Who’s turning that idea into an actual plan?
• Who’s making the decisions that keep it moving?
•Who’s accountable for the finished outcome, not just whether everyone checked off their tasks?

That’s the work I love.

And it’s why I don’t just hand founders a strategy document and wish them luck. by @thehausofwhit

Think about the last three times someone on your team came to you for a yes.

Did they not know what’s theirs to decide?
Did they not know how much they could spend?
Or did they know and ask anyway, because asking you has always worked?

Each one needs a different fix, which is why a new hire rarely changes anything.

$173K leak found in a $2499 Dependency Audit 👀

Audits are one of the funnest parts of my business because I really get to look under the hood (if you will) and spot all the inefficiencies, the gaps, the leaks and everything in between.

For this specific client, she runs a Brand and Web Design business and is going to be turning it into an Agency model but wanted to know where the gaps were BEFORE she changed her entire model (love this for her, A+ student 👩‍🎓)

My favourite part is onboarding where you literally just word vomit/brain dump everything about your business and my wheels immediately start spinning.

You leave with an entire diagnosis using my Founder Proof ™ Method and a 90 Day Prioritized Roadmap sequenced across YOUR actual business, YOUR actual team and YOUR actual constraints.

Somewhere along the way, “I can’t delegate” got treated as a personality flaw instead of what it actually usually is: accurate pattern recognition.

You’re not bad at letting go. You’ve watched, repeatedly, what happens when something leaves your hands without a system underneath it — the missed detail, the client who noticed, the fire you had to personally put out. So you stopped letting go, correctly, because the infrastructure wasn’t there to catch it.

That’s not a trust issue worth years of unpacking. That’s a business that requires you to be the safety net, and no amount of self-work replaces a safety net. Build the decision framework. Build the escalation logic. Watch how fast “I can’t delegate” resolves itself once there’s actually somewhere for the responsibility to go. by @thehausofwhit

The road to a business you resent is almost always paved with good intentions and zero escalation tiers.

You weren’t TRYING to create chaos… you were trying to create something that felt human.

The problem is that “human” and “held together by your personal attention” are not the same thing, and eventually the gap between the two starts showing up in places you really didn’t want it to. by @thehausofwhit

This is the entire thesis of my business now.

You (yes, I mean you) think that the fix is finding someone more senior. But seniority doesn’t transfer authority.. if nobody’s ever defined what a person is allowed to decide, you can hire the most capable operator in the world and they’ll still come back to you for the call.

That gap is invisible from inside the business. You just experience it as “I guess I’m still the one who has to handle this.”

The Dependency Audit is built to find exactly where that gap lives in your business.. which decisions quietly still require you, and why.

The fantasy is that the right person will come in and finally “just get it.” The reality is that nobody can consistently “get” what the company has never properly translated.

Hiring stronger people absolutely matters.
But stronger people need something strong to plug into.

Otherwise, the business does not become more independent.
It becomes more expensive, more layered, and more frustrating because now you have a bigger team still routing too much judgment, nuance, and approval back through you.

Queue the good old, “Nobody can do it like me.”

Maybe.
Or maybe the business has never been built to let anyone else do it without needing you as the interpreter.

Founder-proofing is what changes that.
It turns the founder’s standards, decision logic, client nuance, quality filters, and operational judgment into something the company can actually use.

Because the goal is not to find a unicorn who can survive the chaos beautifully. The goal is to stop making chaos part of the job description. by @thehausofwhit
