We’re delighted to welcome the acclaimed Heath Quartet to Pro Corda this July for an evening of extraordinary chamber music.
Known for their dynamic, emotionally rich performances and praised internationally for the warmth and precision of their sound, the quartet will perform works by Britten, Mozart, Suk and Schumann in what promises to be a truly special live performance in our intimate historic setting.

Alongside their celebrated international career, the Heath Quartet are deeply committed to music education and supporting the next generation of musicians, something that sits very close to the heart of Pro Corda.

A new chamber music concert series at St John’s Waterloo kicking off this weekend! We’re delighted to welcome the London Chamber Music Society (@londonchambermusic) with a fantastic programme by the Heath Quartet (@theheathquartet).

The Heath Quartet has now been an established international quartet for more than 30 years, having won numerous awards, including the Gramophone and Royal Philharmonic Society. They open our first season in the new venue with a programme typical of the wide breadth of LCMS concerts, presenting virtually a history of the quartet medium. Classic masterworks by Haydn and Beethoven are combined with a quartet by celebrated 20th-century Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz, as well as beautiful music for string consort, the precursor to the quartet, by Matthew Locke from the 1600s. taken in St John's Church, Waterloo by @theheathquartet
