90% of them didn’t do anything constructive to acclaim fame, besides having a baby for a 🥷 that has some music on Spotify, now all of a sudden they’re qualified to give political, financial, fashion, culinary, relationship advice. Sad state of affairs in it community at the moment. The failures and railroading (incarceration, health, employment,etc) by the government of the black man in regards to the black family makes these women a beacon of light and someone the black woman can both empathize with and strive to become as a symbol of success. by @theheistonline

Mainstream media has never been as detrimental to the black psyche as “urban” media has now, the constant perpetual stereotypes and tropes about us as if we’re a monolith, our individualities has been stripped from us. A black “podcaster” in Tuscaloosa, West Bubblefucc says he doesn’t like black women who _____ and it immediately becomes a national talking point with the narrative being that all black men think like this, we’ve long lost our sense of discernment, and the ability to judge each other individually, somehow , somewhere along our journey we’ve all been brainwashed to think we should all be the same, we’ve become a monolith. It’s mentally and psychologically draining to wake up everyday and be confronted by these narratives from media sources that should be for us and by us. They’ve created a bigger divide amongst us than yt mainstream media ever has. by @theheistonline
