Finally got the brake feel I was looking for on my Saetta.

Swapped to the RCB S1 FL master cylinder and the difference is immediately noticeable. The larger 14mm piston, forged aluminium construction, and overall build quality have given the front brakes a much firmer and more confidence inspiring feel.

The initial bite is more predictable, lever feedback is clearer, and modulation feels much better than before. Small upgrade on paper, but a huge difference when you're actually riding.

Also the @rowe_euroliquidsindia Dot 5.1 oil was performing perfect considering the heat in Mumbai.

Big thanks to the guys at @fluiddynamics_in for helping me source the @rcb.official.india master brake pump and assisting with the installation as well.

Looking forward to putting some proper kilometers on it and seeing how it performs in the twisties.

It's high time people should know how to use indicators.

Also, I agree I was speeding but I always make sure that there's no traffic around. We both were on same speeds while overtaking , that still doesn't change the fact that I was speeding so I apologise for that.

LONG READ

Finally, a picture with my face in it after almost 837 days!

Also somehow, I can finally fit into my brother's XL riding jacket. I genuinely don't know how, but yeah, it fits! And just for context, my brother is considerably bulkier (a fancy word for fatty @abhinav_shedmekhe 🌚) than me.

The next picture will probably be with grey hair, surrounded by my kids, or motorcycles, or Animals. I'm not sure yet. Or maybe all of them together?

DAMN, THIS ADHD MAN.

Was trying to flex this godly physique🌚🤌🏻

Ended up looking like i am aggressively removing someone's nazar🧿

Anywayy,

I've been away from social media for quite some time now (at least when it comes to posting), and for various reasons. One of them being that building something takes time. And yup, a LOT of it.

And by building something, I don't necessarily mean starting a new venture, launching something new, or whatever. Sometimes, it's just about building yourself into a better person, developing better habits, and, in turn, creating a better life.

Not everything you're working on has to be something the world can see.

Wait..did i introduce you to my nimbu mirchi diary?

Say hi!

Also that hearttrobe of a motorcycle at the back✨

I know for a fact that a few days from now, I'm going to read....

(ADHD - look at those cuties in the picture🥹)

....this caption again and cringe at this absolute BS motivational speech I've just delivered.

But that's fine, though.

Why tf you didn't zoom on those absolute beautiful pieces of god's creation?

The fact of the matter is, I'm gonna see you soon with something NEW. And no, not just better habits or some personal growth nonsense, but yeahhhhh, something ACTUALLY NEW.

Dear Diary,

Wait.

THIS ISN'T NOTES SID!! IT'S INSTAGRAM.

@chatgpt ,can you turn all the above BS into a humorous Instagram caption? 🥂 by @thehelmets.tale

I don’t really know how to write a goodbye to a car.

Especially to this one.

From the day the Figo came home, it never really felt like we had bought a car. It felt like someone new had joined the family.

I remember those first few drives, the excitement of getting behind the wheel, knowing that this was ours. And strangely, even after all these years, that feeling never went away.

It was there through the good, the bad, and everything in between.

I never stopped noticing the little things about this car. Maybe that’s why sitting in it for the last time felt so different.

I was lucky enough to own the 1.4 litre diesel, and if there’s one thing I’ll always remember, it’s the way it drove. The beautifully balanced chassis, the steering feel, the confidence through corners, and that phenomenal diesel torque ,it could make even an ordinary drive thrilling.

But those things are only a small part of why the Figo means so much to me.

It became the car we took everywhere. It quietly found its place in our lives.

I don’t remember every destination anymore.

I remember the drives.

I remember looking back at it after parking. Getting into it after a long day and feeling safe, comfortable, and somehow at home.

The Figo was there while I was learning, changing, discovering cars, discovering roads, and slowly understanding why driving could mean so much to me.

And somewhere along the way, it stopped being just our car.

It became family.

That’s why this goodbye feels heavier than I thought it would.

Because I’m not just handing over a car. I’m letting go of something that has been part of my life for so many years.

Some cars are simply cars from the day you buy them.

This one never was.

It was my Figo.

So this is where our story ends.

And honestly, I wish I could have one more drive ,but this time, wishing the road wouldn’t end.

I’ll miss you more than I can put into words.

Goodbye, love.
Goodbye, my little Figo. ❤️ by @thehelmets.tale

We often enter a forest searching for one thing, a tiger.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

But somewhere along the way, we forget that every roar is supported by a million quieter lives.

The insects on the grass.
The bark that shelters unseen creatures.
The rocks covered in moss.
The trees that have stood for decades.
The endless shades of green that make the wild feel alive.

The tiger may be the face of the forest.

But the forest is a masterpiece because of everything that lives within it.

The next time you're in the wild, pause for a moment.

Look beyond the stripes.

You might just discover that the smallest wonders leave the biggest impression.

Every life matters. Every story belongs.

Boys with motorcycles and intercoms are a curse 💀

Btw, the KTM rider is @___itsmesai and the one on the 350Rs is @amiteshnarkar

Both of them humbled me because their motorcycles are way more “Indian road” friendly… and mine, not so much.

Had the privilege of admiring these beauties at the Bajaj Auto plant. Felt like a small kid discovering motorcycles for the first time, staring at the endless buttons and switches on a MotoGP machine.

And the 450 SX-F was a cherry on top.

I had a lot of options in this segment.
Bikes that made more sense. Bikes that were easier, more comfortable, more practical.

I was actually very close to going for the KTM ADV390.
Something that would’ve been effortless to ride and easy to live with.

But I didn’t want easy.

What surprised me the most about Saetta is how easy it feels at first.
Almost like you already know how to ride it.

And that’s what’s dangerous.

Because the more time you spend with it, the more you realise
you actually didn’t.

There’s a whole different level to it.
And once you start understanding that,
that’s when it really begins to make sense.

That learning curve, that surprise,
that’s what makes it special.

And that’s why I chose it.
