Still reminiscing on this weekend 🪩 So thankful for every single person that helped make it happen & took care of each one of my littles! There were a lot of moving parts 🤣

Especially to my sweet husband, who let the kids do ALL the things & yet I walked into a clean house 🙌

Not saying let’s “normalize” the mess because I think there’s something so important about a clean house, especially for kids.

However, as a mom, I think it’s important to remember that it can’t always be that way - it’s ok to see this.

It’s okay.
It’s normal.
Don’t get worked up.

It only takes a few short (sometimes longer) minutes to pick up - so don’t become the angry mom in those moments.

I feel like I often show the house clean & organized right after a reset. But this is what the house looks like almost every day at some point. So another remember that Instagram can be a “highlight” reel. by @thehescotts

My biggest takeaway from this weekend: we CAN pour from an empty cup — but only because we serve a God who fills what we bring to Him. 🤍

In 2 Kings 4, the widow brought God her empty jars, and He filled them with oil.

Motherhood feels like an empty jar sometimes. But we don’t have to fill ourselves. We just have to bring what we have to the One who loves us more than we could ever know.

AND that taking a weekend to HAVE FUN, lay by the pool, be poured into by amazing speakers, having time of worship & ending with a dance party should be required for all moms! by @thehescotts

Got so much done but not quite the whole list…

•print out schedule
•finish @cottandcloth orders
•complete all the laundry
•make sure all rooms are picked up (kids will help)
•organize baseball stuff
•run around stressed knowing I probably forgot something

So excited to see what Gods has in store for this weekend at Momcon - I know he’s going to show up BIG!
