🎸 INDIE NIGHT RETURNS TO THE LINSMORE TAVERN! 🎸
Tuesday, September 22nd, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) welcomes back Indie Night, featuring THREE incredible Toronto original artists/bands bringing their own unique sounds to the stage — and as always, THERE’S NO COVER! 🙌
🔥 8:00 PM – The Hidden Meanings – Toronto’s newest hitmakers! With influences ranging from The Beatles and Hendrix to The Clash and Motown, The Hidden Meanings blend rock, soul, psychedelia, indie power-pop and Americana into a sound all their own. Their engaging stage presence and infectious songs have local audiences singing along — even when hearing the songs for the very first time! Check out their latest single “I Got No Heaven”, released in May 2026, along with their other fan favourites on Spotify, Apple, YouTube and everywhere you get your music.
🎤 9:00 PM – Gary Edward Allen – A Toronto-based singer-songwriter who has called Toronto home since 2015, Gary brings together pseudo-classical dramatics with classic rock sensibilities. He has recorded with Tim Bovaconti, AJ Ottaway and Doug Fury, and has also been a member of Lon Chaney Movie. His music is available on streaming as Of Toronto – Gary Edward Allen.
🎸 10:00 PM – The Steady Burn – This Toronto indie rock band blends the grit of alternative and grunge with alt-country, Americana and folk. With evocative songwriting, powerful vocals, inventive lead guitar, driving bass, haunting harmonies and pounding drums, The Steady Burn move effortlessly from intimate and atmospheric moments to visceral and explosive walls of sound.
🎶 NO COVER! 🎶
This great night of original music is brought to you with the support of IndieCan Radio (SiriusXM), Meg-a Music Toronto and Meg-a Entertainment Toronto.
👉 Come out, support the local music scene and local artists, and discover your new favourite band! It’s going to be an incredible night of live music at the Linsmore!
