“MIAMI, HE WROTE” by Chosen Lyric

Miami is a poem that we write together/
I’m headed down the highway, traffic light, or better/
It’s either pouring raining or the nicest weather/
I write the story of our life together/
Looking out the window, stare at the sky/
I’m on my way to get some food from “Cash Burgers N Fries”/
And I’ll meet up with my cousin, if we both have the chance ta’/
Respected, hard-working woman: I’m proud how she’d advance her/
But sometimes I’m nervous, but not like she’s reading miranda:/
She might ask questions I’m unsure how I should answer/
Miami is a poem we write together, pick the pen up/
Cash Burgers N Fries just never does the same stuff/
Food truck’s at different locations in Miami all the time/
Ate the philly steak, & it’s ribeye: I almost lost my mind/
I told him I’m have the Cash Burger when I come next time/
That’s my bro, I never asked to cut the line/
Coming down more in the fall: too hot in summer time/
Then again, Meg & the Hirsch’s come to mind/
My homie Meg is so different/
My longtime friend Megnificient/
Stop by on the way home, if possible: visiting/
You always had that crazy vocab: I was listening/
Till we’re back on the Treasure Coast spilling it:/

When I drove to #Miami a week ago, we met my cousin for brunch. On our walk back to the hybrid, we found a free art gallery called The Green Space @greenspacemiami . They said to come back later to meet the artists, but we had to go to Homestead, Florida & meet my bro.

On Saturday, After The Ninja Conference Ended The Day Before, My Wife & I Went To Miami-Dade To See Family & My Close Friend.

(Keyes, the Florida Real Estate Brokerage that I work with, has its headquarters in Miami.)

In Miami, we went to Brunch with my Cousin, attended an art gallery, & went to see my friend after a Celebration of Life for his loved one.

Looking forward to returning.

We did get to see our friends from Broward & Palm Beach Counties during our trip last week. One: my super close friend in South Palm Beach County, we met up at Miller Ale House, but they didn’t have any art. One of them works at a Thai restaurant.
