Fair warning: the robots are back. 🤖🐗

@giantwalkingrobots have played the Hog twice, and they wrecked the place both times. Reggae grooves, deep dub, enough jamtronica to make your knees move in ways you didn't know were possible. Tonight. Do not miss.

Then Saturday we flip the switch: @thewaymores and @michellemoonshine bring the honky tonk, the harmonies, and the kind of country songs that make you call your ex. (Don't - they are an ex for a reason.)

One of Salt Lake City’s standout restaurants. Think modern American cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, excellent steaks and a stylish atmosphere. Perfect for a special evening out.

🍸 Franklin Ave Cocktails & Kitchen
A trendy downtown spot with a fantastic cocktail menu and creative American dishes. Great for dinner, drinks or a lively evening out.

🍺 Level Crossing Brewing Co.
A relaxed local brewery serving craft beers, delicious wood-fired pizzas and casual American favourites. A great option for an easy-going lunch or evening.

🥞 Ruth’s Diner
A Salt Lake City institution! Nestled in Emigration Canyon, this historic diner has been serving locals since 1930. Famous for its hearty breakfasts, enormous biscuits and beautiful canyon setting. (So cool, I bought some merch!)

🍔 The Hog Wallow Pub
A hidden gem tucked away at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. Rustic, cosy and full of character, with a lovely outdoor patio, live music and classic pub food. A great spot to unwind after exploring the mountains.

My tip: Salt Lake City is the perfect base for exploring Utah, and its food scene is definitely worth making time for!

One month of Mckayle & Dylan🌲🌄🦌

Part one of their two part day wedding day started before most people were awake, with just the three of us hiking with the most beautiful sunrise for private vows, a picnic, and a very special run in with a doe and her fawns.

The second part started in the afternoon, meeting up with their families for getting ready, a super sweet first look at their A-frame cabin, a ceremony that was equal parts hilarious and heartfelt, campground drinks, and dinner at @thehogwallow.

And really, their wedding was more than a day. They made a whole week of it in Utah with their families, complete with a girls’ spa day, side by sides for the guys, followed by a honeymoon in Banff.

From D’s ring made partly with gold from his mom’s jewelry, to M’s necklace gifted by D’s sister, and an officiant (and friend) who had married M’s mom the year before, every little detail held meaning.

Happy one month minus one day, M & D! So grateful I got to be part of your day!
