Slowly making my way through the Freida McFadden library… 📚🔪

Clearly I’ve still got some work to do

And now I’m officially counting down the days until The Witch 🧙🏼‍♀️📖 I’m already jealous of everyone who got their hands on an early copy!

How many Freida books have you read? And more importantly… which one should I cross off my list next? 👀

I know I’m late to this one….

Taking a little break from reading to binge Monster The Lizzy Borden Story on Netflix. And of course it’s another Ryan Murphy show… and we all know I’ll watch pretty much anything he does. 😏

Has anyone else watched it? No spoilers, but tell me—did you love it?

Back to the books tomorrow. Tonight, we binge. 🍂

Already counting down until I get to wander through the fall market again. There’s just something about this kind of day that makes me want to go home, light a candle, grab a blanket and start a slightly unsettling book. 📖

Basically my ideal fall day.

THE SHARDS: BOOK vs. TV SHOW 👀

Okay… can we talk about the show?!

Ryan Murphy’s (my fav btw) The Shards takes Bret Easton Ellis’ story and definitely does its own thing with it. The ’80s LA aesthetic, music, casting and overall vibe are there—but there are also some pretty major changes from the book.

So…….

Did you watch it?
Did you read the book first?

☕📖📺

No spoilers in the comments—or at least give us a warning! 😉

📖 NEW REVIEW | The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis

This one was dark, nostalgic, and definitely a commitment — but once I was in, I was IN.

The Shards mixes obsession, paranoia, friendship and murder against the backdrop of 1980s Los Angeles - give me all the 1980’s billboard hits yasssss!

600 pages is a lot but I was invested! Have you read The Shards? Did you love it or hate it?
