SHOW THE PROCESS. 🎥

The next few months are going to be a lot. A film festival, murals, HorrorFest, a documentary and somehow finding time to create for myself in between.

There’s pressure. There’s stress. But there’s also excitement in knowing these opportunities can create something bigger than me.

So for the rest of 2026, I want to show more than just the finished product. I want to show the work, the stress, the mistakes, the late nights, and everything it takes to bring these ideas to life.

2026 has given me so much to be thankful for. Being named Man of the Year, receiving Arts Advocate of the Year, and celebrating Cien Ojos Studio winning New Business of the Year are honors I don’t take lightly.

I’ve never done this work for recognition, but being acknowledged means more than I can put into words. It makes me reflect on everyone who has supported me, trusted my ideas, and helped bring them to life. I’m thankful for my team and the community that continues to show up for us.

None of this happened alone.
I’m also grateful that I found the courage to bet on myself, even when I didn’t have everything figured out. I didn’t wait for an opportunity to come my way, I started creating with what I had, learning along the way, and finding people who believed in the same things.

As a kid from Livingston who often felt overlooked growing up, these moments mean something special. Representation matters. I hope someone from a small town like mine sees this and feels encouraged to believe there’s room for them and their ideas, too.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. I’m still learning, still growing, and grateful to keep doing work that means something to me and my community.

Cien Ojos Studio is your New Business of the Year! 🏆✨
What started as a shared vision between six creatives has become a space for art, coffee, music, workshops, and community in Downtown Merced.
We built Cien Ojos because we wanted a place where people could create, connect, and feel welcome. Being recognized for that means so much to us.

April in Yosemite hits different 🌲❄️🌧️☀️

Snow on the ground, rain in the air, and the sun breaking through. It felt like every season showed up in one day. Hard to believe a place this unreal is just a short drive from Merced.

Spent the day capturing moments with @centralvalleyfilmclub x @central.valley.camera.club x @hotshotsmag scouting and creating for our upcoming photowalk on May 30th. Stopping every few minutes for “one more shot” kind of day 📸

🎬 A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

Our 2nd Annual End of Summer Film Festival was something truly special.

We crowned 2 winners, but this night was about so much more than awards. 10 filmmakers from across the Central Valley came together to share their stories, their creativity, and their work on the big screen. 🎥

To every filmmaker who participated, every person who packed the theater, and every sponsor who believed in what we’re building, THANK YOU.

None of this would have been possible without your support.

This festival continues to remind us just how much talent exists right here in the Central Valley.
