Introducing : The House of Tricksters 💥🫀

A new drag house, allegedly the first in Denmark. Consists of a variety of performers, artists and creatives. Representing various genders, queer identities and sexualities.

This is an oldschool yet modern drag format, where we train each other to dismantle and disrupt, to break gender ideologies apart, questioning performance art and its role in society, activists for sex-positivity, creators of community building (-parties) and inspiring crowds to think out of the box. Do not expect polished drag. Expect underground raw performance art through methodologies of drag. Well actually, expect a bit of everything ;))

This house is being built on the legacy from @thehouseofhopelezz and @houseoflostbois
Mother Leo Patra (@carlohan) initiated this Copenhagen based drag house after years of being shaped by these Amsterdam based drag houses, mothered by @takatakapriest and @jenniferhopelezz

Performing 13th of August at @odp3_ovenpaa @raahuset for Alternative Pride. Come and get in quick drag and fool around on the 8th with us - same location.

Stay tuned for what’s in store 💥

Final edits from our workshare during my @haut_scene residency where members from @thehouseoftricksters joined on stage.
Exploring how to merge camp aesthetics, drag and 2010’s pop music with abstract ‘clay’ sound scapes, live flute music and childhood bedroom playfulness.
