FEARLESS OF FAILURE

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Less than 3 years ago a very naive Matty turned up to Manchester Hyrox, sub 60, why not ?🤣 Humbled doesnt quite cover with my wall balls taking me over 7 minutes 🫠

This weekend I beat my arch nemesis, 108 unbroken wall balls, BITCHES 🥳 (yes 8 no reps but unbroken all the same). Although we fell short this time, my next solo effort sub 60 is getting it. Dancefloor I'll see you soon 🫡

I cant take full credit for my progress without mentioning the man himself @mju.performance . Everytime I turn up to an event he makes sure I'm as prepared physically as I can be and I couldnt be more greatful for him and all the other coaches who push me from @vortexperformanceacademy .

If you're looking to progress across any sport, you should definitely drop him a message and come and join us in the gym 🫡. taken in Palexpo Genève by @thehybridmathlete

Should I be worried that I genuinely believe I'm capable of anything? by @thehybridmathlete

Fitness can be lonely at times, the early morning sessions, the solo long runs, and those dark days when things just aren’t going your way. But then you meet people along the way who make every bit of it worth it.

Lew and I were brought together through fitness. We were introduced through a friend he coaches, and since then, he’s become a running partner, Hyrox doubles partner, and, most importantly, a top mate.

He puts the work in, pushes me to my limits, keeps me accountable, and somehow makes the whole journey so much more enjoyable.

Grateful to have you in my corner, champ. 🫡

Keep scrolling for another flag 🫡

- 2nd in AG (beaten by Hyrox elite 15 athletes 👀)
- 8th Overall

12 months ago Shane and I turned up to Newcastle Hybrid Games to meet for the first time, not knowing what racing together would bring.

Since then we have raced Hyrox Open and Pro Doubles together, pushed each other to our limits across all running distances (some pretty impressive new pbs). Topping off the incredible 12 months with a flag, finishing 2nd in AG back where it all began.

Shane you're one of the real ones and I can't wait to see what we can achieve together an individually 🫡

@mju.performance 2 flags in my last 2 races can we make it a hat-trick this weekend 👀
