Please help engage with this post so it’s seen. 🙏🏻 No musicians have made an impact on me quite like @honeymoon and @florenceandthemachine. I’ve been a fan since both of their careers debuted and have been to many live shows. Their music has been a godsend for me…saving my life when I was suffering from so much that the thought of ending it all was the only choice I had to make it better. When I listen to their music...I feel happy, calm, and empowered. I was lucky enough to meet both indie queens and those are moments I will never forget. I met Flo on the streets of NYC in 2016 and I met Lana after her show in Washington DC in 2018. Both are the sweetest women on the planet. I’m writing this, hoping Lana and Flo will see this. Unfortunately, both times I met these legends, I was so starstruck, teary-eyed, and tongue-tied, I couldn’t ask them for a tattoo request with lyrics that mean so much to me and these tattoos would be a reminder to never give up, even when life hurts you. For @florence, I would love to have the lyrics “Hold on to each other” in your handwriting and with your signature. You even mentioned on a Sirius XM interview that the day I met you helped inspire the song “June” (where you said you were in NY and meeting fans and feeling like everyone just needed to be held) so the song and those lyrics mean a lot to me. I know you probably met many people that time but I was thrilled that I possibly helped to inspire my favorite song by one of my idols. For @honeymoon, I would love if you could write out in your handwriting “Every now and then, the stars align” with your signature. Those lyrics have really pushed me to keep going despite anything horrible that has happened to me. Lana, after we met you even followed me on your @lanadelrey IG and Twitter and now, since those are deactivated, I no longer have a way to ask for this tattoo request. 😭 Anyway, I thought this was worth a shot to try. Thank you both for creating music that impacts so many. So much love to you 🫶🏻

The Everybody Scream Tour by Florence and the Machine feels less like a concert and more like stepping into a living, breathing ritual. From the moment Florence Welch appears on stage, there’s an eerie, almost supernatural energy that blurs the line between performance and possession. The lighting casts long shadows, the stage design leans into gothic textures, and the sound swells like something ancient waking up. It’s not just theatrical, it’s haunting.

There’s a strong thread of witchcraft woven throughout the show, not in a gimmicky way, but in a way that feels rooted in feminine power and folklore. Florence moves like a modern-day witch, barefoot, wild, untamed, channeling something deeper than just music. Songs like “Shake It Out” and “Which Witch” hit differently live, turning into full-on exorcisms where the crowd becomes part of the spell. It feels communal, almost sacred, like everyone is there to release something they’ve been carrying.

The horror elements creep in subtly but effectively. It’s in the tension of the music, the sudden shifts from softness to overwhelming intensity, the way her voice can sound angelic one moment and almost feral the next. There’s something beautifully unsettling about it, like standing at the edge of something unknown. The visuals, with flashes of deep reds, stark whites, and shadowy silhouettes, create a dreamlike nightmare you don’t want to wake up from.

What makes it so powerful is that it doesn’t rely on shock value. The “horror” comes from emotion, from vulnerability, from confronting darkness head-on. It’s cathartic rather than terrifying. By the end, you don’t feel scared, you feel transformed, like you’ve been pulled through something intense and come out lighter on the other side.

It’s not just a concert. It’s a spell, a séance, a storm you willingly walk into. @florence @florenceandthemachine @witchchoir #florenceandthemachine #florencewelch #witchchoir #everybodyscreamtour #everybodyscream by @theindieprince
