#Ad Looking for a summer escape? @edmundsoriginal has transformed The Bower into a tropical pop-up that’s here through the end of August.

Guests can enjoy tiki classics like Mai Tais, Singapore Slings and shareable Blue Hawaiis alongside limited-time menu specials including the Hula Dog and Kahlua Pork Plate. Add tiki torches, reggae music, and plenty of tropical flair and you’ve got one of Charleston’s most fun seasonal patios.

Hawaiian shirts are encouraged. 🌺🌴 by @theindigoroad

Tomorrow on Say Grace, @stevepalmer12 welcomes @nancysilverton , chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and co-owner of the Mozza Restaurant Group.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential bakers and chefs of her generation, Nancy has spent decades shaping American food culture. An Outstanding Chef James Beard Award recipient, author of eleven cookbooks, and the visionary behind La Brea Bakery and the Mozza restaurants, her impact on the way Americans think about bread, baking, and Italian cuisine is immeasurable.

In this episode, Nancy reflects on the travels through Europe that forever changed her perspective on bread. At a time when many believed American flour simply wasn’t capable of producing the quality she admired abroad, she became determined to prove otherwise. Inspired by the chefs who were pushing culinary boundaries, she set out to elevate the craft of bread making in the United States and challenged herself to become the baker she knew she could be.

Her story is a reminder that some of the biggest shifts in hospitality begin with someone willing to question what’s possible and commit to doing the work to make it happen.

TRAVEL POST 🚗 Book your next Charleston, SC stay at @hotelrichemont! This adorable boutique hotel could not be in a better location as it sits on the corner of King and Society. You’re right in the heart of the action (especially if you like to shop) but far enough away from the buzz of the late night bars. You can even walk to the waterfront in under 20 minutes!

👑 Named one of the 2026 “South’s Best New Hotels” by @southernlivingmag, Hotel Richemont has only 25 rooms, making it an intimate choice in such a busy city. It’s also home to @twobitclub, a Vietnamese-inspired restaurant and bar with an awesome happy hour menu and creative craft cocktails. ✨ It’s open to the public, so even if you aren’t a hotel guest, add this spot to your list!

@hotelrichemont also offers valet parking so you can call for your car as needed. And if you experience two downpours like we did, you can rent umbrellas from the front desk! 🚲 Finally, if you like to bike, be sure to take advantage of theirs so you can ride around town and explore.

We had such a great and comfortable time at @hotelrichemont. Thank you for the Southern hospitality and wonderful stay! ❤️ #eatdrinkclt #eatdrinkchs taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @theindigoroad

Tomorrow on Say Grace, @stevepalmer12 welcomes Matt and Ted Lee, the Charleston-born brothers whose curiosity about Southern food helped shape remarkable careers as award-winning cookbook authors, journalists, and storytellers.

Long before they were James Beard Award-winning authors, television hosts, and sought-after culinary consultants, @theleebros were two homesick college students in New York wondering why they couldn't find one of their favorite tastes of home: boiled peanuts. That simple question led them to launch The Lee Bros. Boiled Peanuts Catalogue, introducing Southern pantry staples to customers across the country and setting them on a path that would redefine their careers.

In this conversation, the brothers reflect on the early days of building that unexpected business, the evolution of Charleston's food scene, and how following curiosity ultimately led them into hospitality, journalism, and cookbook publishing.

It's a conversation about entrepreneurship, storytelling, and the unexpected moments that can change the course of a life.
