Every idea starts somewhere. This is where mine did. 🖤

The Ink Between is more than just learning how to tattoo — it’s about making room for something I’ve wanted to explore, giving myself permission to be a beginner, and seeing where a little passion might lead.

So, here’s the why behind it all.

🖤 Welcome to The Ink Between- a little space I created to document what happens when you finally make room for the thing you can’t stop thinking about.

I’m a wife, a mama of two, a 9-to-5 professional, and somewhere in between all of that… I’m learning the art of tattooing🫶🏼

I don’t have it all figured out & I’d say that’s kind of the point.

This page is for the practice, the progress, the shaky first lines, the little wins, the lessons, the art, and everything in between as I figure out where this passion will take me.

No pretending I’m already at the finish line. Just letting myself begin.

So, welcome to the messy, exciting middle.

The Ink Between
somewhere between passion & profession.

Come join me as I figure it out. 🖤

sometimes you just have to take the chance before you feel ready. I promise you, it’s worth it. ✨🖤

A little reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight. 🖤

I’ve been putting in the work to try new techniques, learn different styles, and push myself outside of what feels comfortable. And honestly, the biggest game changer for me has been practice + consistency.

Showing up even when the line isn’t perfect. Trying again when something doesn’t go how I pictured it. Learning from every single piece and slowly building confidence along the way.

Still learning. Still experimenting. Still very much a work in progress. But I’m proud of the progress. 🥹🖊️

Just gonna keep showing up and getting better. One tattoo at a time. 🖤

POV: you’re a beginner tattoo artist with a 13-tattoo lineup… just another Saturday morning filled with practice. 🫡🖊️😂

Except your first client is 5 years old, very particular about placement, and the “tattoo” is very much temporary. 😂

Gotta start somewhere, right? 🖤

A little glimpse into what chasing this dream actually looks like- learning new techniques, mastering my set up, practicing on a friend, and becoming more comfortable with my machine every time I pick it up.

Still learning. Still practicing. Still progressing.

But getting to actually do the very thing I’ve spent so much time thinking about feels pretty damn special.

Somewhere between passion & profession. 🖤🖊️

(Huge shout out to my girl @_angellicatraci for being my model 🤪 )

POV: the hobby is becoming a dream. 🖤

Two days of mentorship, a whole lot to learn, and one big reminder: investing in yourself is always worth it. ✨

So grateful to @inkedbyash__ for being an incredible teacher, sharing her knowledge, and making these first steps so encouraging. 🫶🏽

Just getting started… 🖊️
