Cosmere Inktober Day 7: Atilt

The first she trusted.
The first to fall.

The Survivor falling, while the girl who trusted him stayed.

--------------------------------------------------------

It will always, ALWAYS be such a loss that we didn't see more of Vin's grief.
This one turned out insane, I think. I'm really, really proud!

Frieren has been living in my head rent free since the Japan vacation.
So I had to ask the question.

What if Vin was the one left behind?

What if she chose to stay with Kelsier and watched the world build monuments to the boy who used to argue philosophy with her at midnight?

Mistborn x Frieren crossover | Vin & Elend

Would you have followed him into the Beyond? Or stayed?

Every struggle. Every fight. Every loss.
It only made their love stronger.

Finally finished my animatic of Vin and Elend's quiet moment stop the Luthadel rooftops to The Amazing Devil's 'Fair'.
It's slower and more emotional than the last one I did.
I see them a bit like the beginning and the end of their story.

#cosmereinktober2026 Day 31: Ascend

He was the only reason she had left to live.
She was the only reason he ever had to live.

Ending Inktober with an homage to one of my first "break through" artworks.
It was a fun month. The first time I ever participated in any kind of art challenge and though I didn't draw as much as I wanted, I put out a lot more fully rendered pieces than I had planned.

#cosmereinktober2026 Day 27: Friendly

A girl who learned that trust is a liability.
A crew who learned that love is greater than oppression.
A man who taught her that the risk is worth it.

#cosmereinktober2026 Day 22: Blossom

Still working on new stuff for the con, so didn't have time for a full artwork today. I hope I will catch up.
But for now: one of my two Mistborn tattoos.
Design by me and @bisschentinte
Tattooed by her too of course.

Still so very happy seeing this every day.
Any guess why I chose these symbols specifically?

#cosmereinktober2026 Day 20: Painting

Every artist knows that little voice in your head that tells you to add stupid little details, change the lighting or just throw it all out.
Nikaro has an actual voice inside his head.

They laughed at him.
They thought he was just a kid playing king.
They were wrong.
He believed.

#cosmereinktober2026 Day 14: Above

They didn't see him coming.
The shadow in the mists.
The bane of nobility.
The Survivor of Hathsin.

#cosmereinktober2026 day 13: Mystery

Starling.
For someone who hasn't finished the Cosmere, but did read Emberdark, Starlibg and the dragons in general are a big mystery. But I liked her nonetheless.
Her design is based on the pin set from Dragonsteel.
