Let me introduce myself!✨✨

I’m Beverly, I am superrr passionate about self development and growth, especially in relation to women. I love music! I listen to mostly afrobeats, R&B, and alternative/indie.

I also love all things beauty, fashion, photography, and overall wellness.

I bet your wondering, how did you even find yourself here?

Growing up, I felt like I basically had to raise myself. No one taught me how to be confident, to go after the things I wanted. The world was always telling me to go in the complete opposite direction of what I always knew what was mine in the bottom of my heart.

I always wished I had a feminine influence in my life that could tell me the things I know now. But either way, life brought me to this point and now I’m here hoping I can inspire others in the same way.

I’ve delved into and studied many topics, including self concept, Bible study/theology, universal law, (law of attraction, law of assumption, etc.), health + fitness, neurology, psychology, relationship dynamics, finance, human evolution, hypnotherapy, and more. Needless to say, I know a little bit about everything😂😂 and I cannot wait to share it with you all!

I grew up in a Christian household and it has become a solid foundation that I use to make my way as I learn and grow.

My story doesn’t end there, but I don’t want to ramble on too long, so for now I’ll leave it here.

5 questions to ask on your first date:

1. Are you an optimist, pessimist, or a realist?
2. What did you learn about relationships and marriage from your parents?
3. What do you feel are the rules for men and women in relationships?
4. What did you learn about emotional and physical affection from your parents?
5. What kind of lifestyle do you desire?

Vetting and choosing your future spouse and mother/father of your kids is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in life (if your goal is marriage). Don’t be afraid to get deep and ask the right questions, if the vibes permit. You don’t want to scare anyone off, but don’t wait to long either. You’ll know. 😂

(5) Mindset shifts that are rooted in success. 🤍

Save this as a reminder!

I hope these tips were helpful and transformative in one way or the other. Success is subjective to everyone, my definition and yours could look completely different, so my aim was to mix it up.

I used to believe success was what’s as shown to me on TV. But after learning more about life, I realized that half of those things didn’t matter. Being healthy, having people you can call friends and family, financial freedom, having a relationship with God, and a healthy self esteem seemed like things that were more important.

A lot of these tips were things I wish people told me when I was younger. I never knew I could use the things I went through to get me to where I wanted to be. When I compared myself to everyone, I thought it was a curse, come to find out it’s a GIFT.

As a black women or WOC, life looks different for me. I can’t just go out there and do what I want. I have to take into account how I’ll be perceived in elevated spaces, but still learn how to remain authentic while getting what I want. I’ll probably make a post talking about this more in depth.

Either way, it’s possible, and I’ve DONE IT.

As you continue on your journey, I pray that you continue to see how the pieces are coming together one by one. Don’t give up, God is just getting started with you. 🫶🏾

Listen love….

I know exactly how it feels. To feel like you are the odd one out. To feel like the unluckiest person alive, like God was just flipping the blessings switch in everyone’s life instead of yours.

I was fresh out of high school, moved to a new state where I barely knew anyone. I was a student in school just going to class and coming back home! I instantly fell into a depression and suffered from anxious attacks because I felt so lost. I had so many opportunities to change but I said no. I was so miserable for no reason 😭

And then one day, it was like God called out to me and said ENOUGH! I was so tired of my own behavior.

But the big question was, HOW?

I started reading books, going to the gym, fixing my habits and went into hibernation trying to better myself.

The truth is, this can be you too. The luck will meet you when you’re taking the action steps necessary. When God sees you’ll do anything to get to where you want to be, he’ll meet you there too.

We’ve all seen it—those people who seem to have it all figured out, the ones stepping into rooms like they own them, making moves with confidence and ease.

The truth is, they’re not more capable, talented, or deserving than you. The difference? They believe they belong there. They know the power of their mindset.

Your mindset shapes how you show up in the world. It determines whether you take that risk or sit on the sidelines. It’s the voice inside your head telling you to either go for it or hold back. And the wild part? You control it.

I would always try to start businesses and couldn’t keep going when I faced a challenge. I would just jump into things with pure willpower, at the end just feeling burnt out.

Then, it hit me.

You can have the blue print right in front of you. But without having the correct relationship with God and the right knowledge, It’ll just look like a whole bunch of “ I can’t do this”.

Let me tell y’all something—when you start carrying yourself like you belong, doors you never imagined will open. 💫

I began walking into rooms with the energy that I deserve to be there. No more shrinking, no more second-guessing. I showed up like I was meant to be in those spaces—and guess what? God agreed. 🖤

Here’s what I’ve learned:

When you believe in the purpose God placed in you and act like you’re worthy of the opportunities you desire, the world responds.
