Traversed into the next decade aboard with my people. Chased @erling back to Norway after the Vikings put on a great show at the World Cup. Took in another beautiful country full of history and rich color. Enjoyed the restfulness of tuning out of the noise and centering on connections to the adventure. It was a strong reminder that this is core motive of existence. I was grateful to string out an extra 7 hours of the 50th with travel back in time to the states. Hope you can find some adventures this summer. Getting super hyped for snow season that’s just around the corner. Shops already landing new 2027 gear and the vibes are buzzzin…. Point it! taken in Norway by @theinteriorplainproject

Next Friday at @the_bitterbuffalo Adelle will host an art sale in support of @foundationwomenshealth for her Middle School community project. She used her 8th grade individual art final project to create prints to sell to raise money for the foundation. “I made continuous line art drypoint prints that signify feminine power and beauty through the use of symbols such as flowers and female profiles. The use of gouache on some of the prints helped me bring out the female aspect through pops of color and design.“ Roll thru to buy some art or feel free to donate on Adelle’s behalf to the foundation directly. Foundation For Women’s Health is attacking the disparity in women’s health research. From their website - “women’s health research accounted for only 8.8% on NIH research grants from 2013-2023 despite the fact that women represent 51% of the American population” That’s crazy! Yet not surprising. Hope you can support or share in support of Adelle’s efforts. IPP Pete by @theinteriorplainproject

Lord of the Ropes is about community. Specifically the Midwest snowboarding community. We invite and gather riders from around the Midwest at @trollhaugentroll which in its own right is a legendary space to and for snowboarding. The head to head match ups introduce new riders to each. Then after that match they Judge the next round together. The practice of community and kinship is vital. As a great friend of mine said “it’s just snowboarding” and he was correct. It’s all important to us yet it’s an activity an art form and maybe not important at all!? These are the riders of 9 lives, the 9th installment of Lord of the Ropes. It was brought to us by great brands and people @capitasupercorp @unionbindingco @coalheadwear @volcomsnow @sheltersalesco @zombieboardshop and of course @trollhaugen_wi Thank you to the riders for coming and riding. You all rode hard and showed up! Thank you the brand’s and riders for supporting the culture and event. Thanks to #wheresboody @tannerburch_ @joemertes @someginger @__the3m__ @jendephoto @jeffy_michael and @trollhaugenparkcrew for holding it down. Grateful to have the chance to bring ideas to life and continue to cultivate this region’s undeniable snowboard passion. More recaps coming. Take your own line. 📸 @jendephoto #theinteriorplainproject #lordoftheropes #takeyourownline #trollhaugen taken in Trollhaugen Troll by @theinteriorplainproject

And for the 3rd time in 9 years, the crown belongs to @kyleknndy 👑👑👑 #LordOfTheRopes Year IX unfolded in a way no one could have predicted, and yet everyone believed to be possible. @kyleknndy proved that he truly does have Nine Lives, winning it all for the veterans after eliminating fellow Troll Unc @__skiba__, and knocking out young @nixonjibfest, a next-gen ripper with an arsenal of tricks that most humans twice his age will never touch. @brand0n_gill fought to the very end, putting on one heck of a show for the frothing crowd, and @joejoepeepee & @stella_lobben rightfully earned @volcomsnow Men’s & Women’s Best Lines. Once again, #LOTR continues to blow us away, from the riders, to the spectators, to the folks tuning in from afar. What we lack in giant budgets and stacked elevation, we make up for with immeasurable heart and unmatched community energy, and we couldn’t do it without all of you humans. We love you, we thank you, and that’s a wrap on #LordOfTheRopes Year IX | Nine Lives. See you next year! 💛💌💙 👑👑👑 @kyleknndy FINAL FOUR: @kyleknndy @nixonjibfest @__skiba__ @brand0n_gill MEN’S & WOMEN’S BEST LINE: @joejoepeepee @stella_lobben ART & GRAPHICS: @casanovawhat @joemertes PHOTOS: @jendephoto MADE POSSIBLE BY: @theinteriorplainproject @sheltersalesco @zombieboardshop @capitasupercorp @unionbindingco @volcomsnow @coalheadwear @trollhaugentroll THANK YOU: @petecroasdale @cuffsfullofdustandfeathers @sheltersalesco @__the3m__ @tannerburch_ @jeffy_michael @skibum26 @someginger #wheresboody & all of Troll Park Crew 🧌 taken in Trollhaugen Troll by @theinteriorplainproject
