crocheted my own banner for my table at markets!!

after contemplating for awhile about if i wanted to buy a banner for markets…i decided to make my own! it took a few tries (my first banner turned out mini) and a paper template but i’m obsessed with how it turned out and finally got around to getting good pics of it!! lmk what you think of it 🤭🧶

vended at a trans artist showcase in celebration of tdov this past weekend! had lots of fun, sold my art and met lotsa lovely trans people. more trans specific markets 🔜 pls… i love trans people and trans artists and the trans community and masks required events 😌🫶🏼

cat wall hanging vs reference photo 🐱

after crocheting my first two cat wall hangings, i decided i wanted to make one based off of a specific cat. i found this cute kitty on @mspca.angell ‘s adoptable pets page (https://www.mspca.org/adoption-search/) and crocheted a wall hanging based off of them! the screenshot i took was from mid-july, and simba (2) is no longer listed on the adoptable pets page, so they were theoretically adopted. i hope they love their new home 🫶🏽

crochet wrist rest!!! 💜

i crocheted my friend a wrist rest and am so happy with how it turned out. it was the first colorwork piece i’ve done in awhile and the first successful checkered piece i’ve crocheted and am excited to do more checkered pieces in the future 👀

scrap yarn beanie!! 🥶🧶

crocheted myself this beanie (using scraps of yarn from previous projects that i tied together and wound into a ball) after the first beanie i’d made for myself was too big…i think i personally cannot handle beanies but it’s beanie or Head Be Cold so for now i will suffer sensory-wise with beanie ;-;

gonna try making myself one of those scarf-hoods and see if i like that any better! been wearing one of my other beanies that i made with thinner weight yarn but like i said above, i think the feeling of beanie on head is just too much for me….hoping scarf-hood is better sensory-wise, but we’ll see 🫡💖
