I have to be honest, I’m really starting to enjoy (more than I ever thought I would) my VERY dark natural roots.

Plus I’m also (finally) starting to accept my silver sparkles. It’s taken a while though, I can’t lie, when you first decide to commit to embracing the greys/whites it can feel like a very confronting process.

The hair at my temples has been so incredibly white for so long that I genuinely assumed the rest of my hair would be the exactly same.

Clearly my temples got the memo way before my crown 😂😂

So at this appointment (7 weeks) @evalynparsonssalon we kept things really subtle — Claire added just a scattering of highlights towards the crown area to subtlety break up my very dark roots which naturally makes everything blend a little easier.

Slowly, slowly is the only way when it comes to grey blending/embracing your silver sparkles - it’s definitely more of a ‘marathon than a sprint’

This appointment was all about maintenance and a quick freshen up — instead of trying to fix what isn’t broken.
.
It had been 7 weeks between appointments. So Claire decided to add just a few foils and low lights through the crown area for a little extra definition, she toned everything else at the basin to keep the blonde fresh and soft, then finished with a quick trim to cut out more of the old colour.
.
I’m loving how natural and low maintenance this grey blending journey has become — just know, getting started was by far the hardest decision to make, now - it’s simply a breeze!

Some places you visit don’t need to shout out loud to leave a lasting impression.

Instead they simply force you to slow down and breathe a little deeper.

Tasmania with its breathtakingly beautiful coastlines, crisp morning air (which trust me, was bloody nippy🥶) unforgettable food, wine and precious moments shared with Jonny - was just what we both needed, at the most perfect time.

Freycinet, especially wasn’t just a destination for us — it was a gentle reminder that life doesn’t always have to be rushed, especially as I still. wasn’t feeling my best self recovering from shingles.

Most of all, I love that some places will stay with you long after you’ve left. @__saffirefreycinet will always be that place for us both. It was a bucket list hotel (lodge) that we will always hold close to our hearts ♥️

Hello from Hobart

We arrived to the most beautiful winter sunshine… although it’s definitely nippier than
SE QLD

I felt instantly warm and snuggly though in my new coat (absolutely delighted with this purchase).
Also, I picked up these barrel leg pants and knit (such great quality and pricepoint). Bonus - they were comfortable enough to fly in!
