Last chance to see! Thoroughly enjoyed visiting @theromanticofmargate on Friday to see @kit_griffiths inhabiting this beautiful space. Utterly charming and thoroughly engaging. If you're quick you can see her improvised performance and the rest of the show this afternoon. A great stop off on Margate's Pride Art Trail. by @thejaborg

Exhibitions of yesterday. The remarkable @lindseymendick at Carl Freedman, visceral in every sense and very poorly captured by me. Reason, as if I needed one, to go back again.

Then Phantasms and Frequencies by @juliaellenlancaster_ceramics at the always excellent @liminal_gallery. We were very lucky to find the artist herself there to talk us through her complex and (literally) layered artistry, which merits really close scrutiny. Sadly that exhibition ended today, but I very much hope to see her work again.

And finally, her top tip, a @follow_the_swirl fruity ice cream, perfect for the weather. Here modelled with everything everything on top. by @thejaborg

Delighted to get my hands on a copy of this glorious new book from @katewilliamsme. At her wonderful launch she told us about her selfless sacrifice in relentlessly pursuing her subjects and their archives, whether it was in Monaco, Seychelles, Egypt or Hawaii. All so we could enjoy the fruits of her labour. What A Queen! And this Red Queen even gave us delicious Regina cake to toast her with. How could I say Na to that? by @thejaborg

Exhibition of many days, now sadly passed. An enormous thank you to @bridgetlriley and @turnercontemporary for the sparkling, splendid and awe-inspiring exhibition about the pleasures of seeing, and learning to see.

I first knowingly fell for Bridget's work @tate in 2003, and caught up with her again in the @hayward.gallery and @nationalgalleriesscot in between, but this was possibly my favourite exhibition yet.

An icon of the 1960s, helping to create and define op art, which has done so much to shape the way we see, and still surprising and delighting us with new works in her 90s. Her work glowed in the glorious light of Margate and every visit brought joy. And the opportunity not just of seeing but being seen; people came alive when framed by her work which is remarkably hard to capture and do justice to in a simple photo. So enjoy some more or less silly portraits and, for those who make it to the end, bonus terrible dancing. by @thejaborg

Last few days to see this brilliant and incredibly moving exhibition @fitzroviachapel by @leah.jensen presented by @cavalierofinn

The Brain Tumour book and accompanying video captures and commemorates Leah's journey through diagnosis, treatment and into recovery. The exhibition is varied and exquisite and also includes some of her wider work, including some incredible ceramics. It's free, on until Sunday and an absolute gem. by @thejaborg

A lovely way to celebrate International Women's Day, a day early. The powerful and beautifully organised @million_women_rise march in Central London followed by @matthewcwhitaker serenading us and encouraging us to Stand Up to the Man by @thejaborg

Exhibition of the other day: another warm up for @traceyeminstudio @tate . This time a visit to her exquisitely curated exhibition currently @carlfreedmangallery

The pieces practically vibrate off each other, it is such a good collection, and each piece seems to glow in the reflection of the others. A kind of magic. by @thejaborg

Exhibition of yesterday: so many beautiful things to see in Saltaire, particularly in @saltsmillofficial. But the exhibition of the day had to be the @peacemuseumuk which strengthened the stomach whilst squeezing the heart. by @thejaborg

Exhibition of a future day. I was already excited for @traceyeminstudio @tate before I saw this, but it was extremely nice to see this in her old Shoreditch manor. And good of them to frame the piece so beautifully with roadworks, in case the neon wasn't enough to draw the eye. by @thejaborg

#hacienda @drumsheds was genuinely awesome. Great music, great vibe, great organisation and the thrill of stepping into an abandoned IKEA warehouse and travelling back through time and space to 90s Manchester. Nice one. by @thejaborg
