Getting to be a part of this incredible show and sharing this story on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 has been such an amazing and special experience, I’m so thankful that I got to be a part of it! I’m so incredibly proud of this cast and the rest of the team who helped make this show the best that it can be!

Come From Away is such a moving story, I wish I could watch it again for the first time. This show has taught me so much about community, and it amazes me how such a diverse group of people can come together in the wake of a tragedy and make the most out of a horrible time, and how a bunch of actors from all different backgrounds can step out onto the stage together to tell this story.

One of the most memorable moments of this whole process for me was at our very first rehearsal, before we even started, some of the cast and crew were sitting around and sharing their stories of where they were and what they were doing when they’d first heard what happened. As someone who has only ever seen or heard second hand accounts of what happened that day, it was really moving to hear everyone’s personal memories of that morning. Through this whole process, from the beginning of our very first table read to now, on opening night, I keep coming back to one moment; one line that I keep repeating: be anxious for nothing. And with that, another show has come to an end! This was without a doubt the most challenging but also the most fun I’ve ever had doing a show. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to perform this amazing show alongside this amazing cast! There may have been a couple of injuries involved, but getting to perform on stage and make some new friends along the way is always worth it! Well Lubbock, it’s been a good run, but it’s time for bigger and better things. I’ll forever love the friends I’ve made here and cherish our time together.
