Read my latest article for @publicorthodoxy: "The Living Stones of the Holy Land: On the Christians Who Remain in the West Bank"

And you can learn more from me and many voices from Palestine and Washington DC at the #NotInChristsName Summit, Saturday, November 14 at Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church in Potomac, Maryland. Time to give Ambassador Huckabee, Pastor John Hagee, and all the Christian Zionists a run for their money - don't let their voice be the only Christian voice our Congressmen hear. 🙏 by @thejasonjonesshow

American Christians love the Holy Land. Most have never met a Palestinian Christian.

We read about Bethlehem every Sunday and travel to Jerusalem to walk where Jesus walked. But the Palestinian Christians who have prayed there for 2,000 years are almost never part of the trip or the sermon.

They’re being erased. In 1948, about 1 in 10 people in Palestine was Christian. Today it’s fewer than 1 in 50. Israeli settlers take their land, a wall cuts Bethlehem off from Jerusalem, and young people have no future at home.

Meanwhile, many American churches cheer on the government pushing Palestine’s Christians out.

If this continues, the Holy Land will have its famous sites and churches… and no local Christians left to pray in them.

It’s time we listened. 🎙️ Fr. Bashar is flying in from Taybeh, and Fr. Issa joins live from Bethlehem.

As Israeli attacks on civilians escalate across Gaza, VPP is stepping up its efforts to bring food, joy, and moments of hope to Gaza’s children. by @thejasonjonesshow

This weekend, VPP hosted lunch and a movie for children in Gaza, a chance to laugh, eat and just be kids. by @thejasonjonesshow

I’m grateful to God and filled with admiration for my 18-year-old son, Jacob. Today, Respect Life Sunday—and the date we usually celebrate St. Francis of Assisi—he begins more than 30 hours of travel to serve a vulnerable community in an extremely challenging environment.

This is his first solo mission. Please pray for him and the people he is going to serve. by @thejasonjonesshow

The children of Gaza sent me this personal message. I can’t tell you how much it means to me.

I would rather be loved by the victims of war than applauded by the powerful. by @thejasonjonesshow

A day in the life of VPP: From water in Gaza to a day of games and laughter for kids in Southern Lebanon, to honoring the wife of a security guard protecting a vulnerable Catholic parish in Nigeria. These are signs of solidarity and joy. Even in hard places, life and dignity shine. We remember, we celebrate, we stand together. by @thejasonjonesshow
