We are beyond proud to share that The JDK Group brought home TWO awards at the 2026 CATIE Awards from the International Caterers Association — 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒕.🏆✨ This recognition means everything because it reflects exactly who we are and what we do. The Alchemy of Obsidian was not simply an event. It was an immersive dining experience, a farewell to one life chapter, and a bold step into the next. Framed around “Death to the 30s,” the evening unfolded as a choreographed journey of mystery, revelation, and connection. Through theatrical spatial transformation, intentional service, and a deeply personal multi-course menu, guests didn’t just attend… they participated in something meaningful. Every culinary detail, every visual shift, every emotional moment was designed to honor the beauty of endings as beginnings. And our team executed it seamlessly. And then, the finale. Our Pastry Chef, Becca, created the award-winning Obsidian & Berry Entremet, a stunning culmination of the evening’s transformation theme. It was both technically masterful and emotionally resonant. Bold. Elegant. Symbolic. Unforgettable. Here’s to innovation, collaboration, and continuing to raise the bar.🖤 ✨Vendor List✨ @markbuckwalter @weddingsbyjdk @elizabethfurnaceevents @mixedupdjs @a1tableclothco @shumakerpdt @a_to_z_event_rentals Get It Now Print by @thejdkgroup

It’s never just about the meal. 🤍 It’s about having all your favorite people together in one place. The cheers between toasts. The conversations shared over dinner. The flavors that tell a little piece of your story. And, of course, that moment when someone takes their first bite and says, “WOW. This is SO good.” Because when you think back on your wedding day, we want the food to be more than something you served. We want it to be part of what made the day so memorable. At @thejdkgroup, we believe in thoughtful hospitality, incredible food, and creating an experience where you and your guests can simply enjoy being in the moment. From the first passed hors d’oeuvre to the last bite of dessert, we’re here to make sure every detail is taken care of, and every guest feels taken care of, too. Bride behavior we fully support. 🤍🥂 Prioritizing the menu. Making time for cocktail hour. Caring about the guest experience just as much as the aesthetic. And, of course, sneaking a bite (or two) of the hors d’oeuvres. Because the best weddings aren’t just beautiful. They’re the ones where the food is incredible, the hospitality is effortless, and everyone (yes, including you) gets to enjoy every moment. That’s the kind of wedding experience we’re here for. 💍 Planning your 2027 wedding in Central PA? Let’s make sure your menu is one of the things everyone remembers.
