MOOOOOOO-VE IT. The wait is over. BLOOM’S OPENS AT 2PM TODAY.

And since we’re officially opening the gates, it’s time we finally give credit to the person who would probably prefer we didn’t make a big deal about her.

Meet Bella Bloom. The 19-year-old owner and mastermind behind Bloom’s Pumpkins & Pines.

What started with Bella’s heart, a big idea and inspiration shared with her grandpa Jeff quickly became a full-family affair. Her dad Andrew has been beside her every step of the way, quite literally building her dream with his own two hands. And then came the village: family, friends, kids and countless people who showed up, pitched in and believed in what she was creating.

Three generations. A whole village. One pretty special dream brought to life.

They set out to create a place where families could make memories.

Turns out, building it became one of theirs.

Now it’s YOUR turn.

After all the building, hauling, painting, planting, decorating, late nights, dirty boots and a whole lot of “wait… what if we did THIS?” — tomorrow we finally get to open the gates.

Bloom’s Pumpkins & Pines officially opens TOMORROW.

Come wander the patch, get lost in the hay maze, meet the cows, hunt for treasures in the boutique, breathe in that Descanso air and pick the pumpkin that’s coming home with you.

Big ones. Little ones. Weird ones. Perfectly imperfect ones. We don’t judge your pumpkin type around here.

More than anything, we can’t wait to see this place filled with families making memories of their own.

When Bloom’s moved onto the block next to @descansojunction , it felt only right to make it official. New kid, meet the neighbor who already knows how to have a good time.

Bloom’s Pumpkins & Pines officially opens THIS FRIDAY, and we’re kicking off our first weekend with a pretty solid plan: spend the day with us, then keep the fun going right next door.

FRIDAY, OCT. 2
Bloom’s Opening Day • 2–7 PM
Pumpkins, hay bale maze, animals, gem mining, candle dipping, games, boutique finds + more
Then head next door to Descanso Junction for FEMME 4 at 6 PM, an all-female Beatles tribute.

SATURDAY, OCT. 3
Bloom’s • 10 AM–9 PM
Make a whole day of it, because Safety Orange plays the Junction from 6–10 PM with their laid-back California beach rock and reggae vibes. The Junction will also have BBQ, beer + wine, lawn games and horseshoes.

SUNDAY, OCT. 4
Bloom’s • 10 AM–9 PM
This one’s for slowing down. Bring a picnic to Bloom’s, hang with the animals, wander the patch, shop the boutique and enjoy a little mountain air.

Two businesses. Literally next door. One little corner of Descanso with a whole lot happening.

We love the idea of giving people another reason to come up the hill, stay awhile, support local and actually spend time together.
