11th ANNUAL CXMAS50
SAT DEC 13
MEET AT UNITED STRANGERS
ROLL OUT 9:30
UNSUPPORTED, RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! by @thejoecorner

The 10th annual #CXMAS50 is in the books! Thanks to all who came out and got pruney! I didn't take many photos because it was so rainy. by @thejoecorner

'Twas the night before CXMAS...

Ok folks, here's some info!

Saturday, Dec 16. Meeting at United Strangers after 9:00. Roll out around 10:00. Ending time? Who knows?? Give yourself a few hours.

- ROUTE UPDATE! The downhill route from Hyannis to Fisherman's is still closed so it looks like Hyannis to Greenland to Bottletop is the route. There WILL be some walking due to steep ups and downs. It can be a little sketchy (but also pretty awesome)!
ROUTE IS IN THE BIO.

- Parking! Please don't park in the United Strangers parking lot as there are some other things going on there. There should be lots of street parking (and park like a good human)!

- Clothing and supplies! Make sure to bring extra clothing, tubes, tools, snacks, etc. Extra warm gloves and socks are a good idea. USC should be able to store a bit of your stuff of needed.

- The ride! There's usually about 50 people at the start but definitely less at the end. The group will most likely start to break apart during the ride out to the dam so pick a similarly-paced buddy to hang with!

- Be a good person and watch for other cyclists, walkers, cars, objects...

Have fun!!!

What a difference a little rain can make. Lynn Canyon goes from just a trickle to a raging torrent within a couple of days.

Last weekend was the seventh annual #CXMAS50 and it was a tough one! Rain turned to snow then back to rain again. Feet and hands were numb and bikes were caked with wet snow. Over 30 brave souls joined in the slop to create a memorable, type-2-fun ride.

Thanks to everyone that came out and I hope to see you next year! Conditions can't be any worse, right??

Big thanks to @doubting.thomas.ltd
@yamafolk for the great photos

When we travel to a different city we always make sure we know where the good coffee is. We've had so many good coffee experiences in many different places but I have to say that home is the place to be. It's not big, as many of you know, but it does the job! The patio furniture is out which doubles our square footage 😁 We can't wait to have you all over for coffee again.
Also, a little update on @unitedstrangerscoffee... Construction is still going ahead at the shop and we still hope to open early summer. It will most likely be quite different than what we had planned but we're working on some things to serve the community! Stay tuned.
