Guys, WE ARE FINALLY DOING THIS! 😂❤️‍🩹

Honestly, creating this video was harder than I expected. I kept wondering how exactly I was going to tell this story, especially because so many of you have been asking questions since my last post.

But well… here we are! 🥹

Seven years together. A breakup. Over two years without contact. And today, he’s my husband.

I know there are questions, assumptions, and probably a few people already reconsidering their decisions. 😂 But please, let’s not jump to conclusions just yet!

This is only PART 1 of the story, and there’s so much more to it than the fact that I married my ex.

My story is my story. I’m not here to tell anyone to go back to their ex. I just think there’s something worth sharing about my journey, and I’m finally ready to talk about it.

Yesterday, I made a post, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to receive the kind of response it did.

So many people reached out, shared their experiences, asked questions, and even thanked me for opening up about my experience.

I’m genuinely grateful that my vulnerability created room for other people to feel seen, heard, and perhaps even understood. It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the things we think we’re alone in experiencing are things so many others can relate to.

I also received some really thoughtful questions that deserve answers, and there are a few things I’d love to clarify.

So, there’ll be follow-up posts where I respond to some of your questions and share more of my thoughts on the subject.

Thank you to everyone who engaged with the post, shared their experiences, and felt safe enough to be vulnerable with me.

Trust me sis, I totally understand how you feel.

Seven years no be beans. That breakup and the pain wasn’t easy to get over.

Today, I’m married to the same man who was once my ex. But this isn’t a post telling you to wait for your ex or believe that every ex will come back.

No. This is for you that is struggling to move on.

For the woman who is still despondent over a relationship that has ended. The woman who keeps replaying the memories, wondering what could have been. The woman who is finding it difficult to imagine a beautiful future without the person she once thought she would spend her life with.

Sis, I understand that it hurts. The years you spent together are a long time to invest your heart in someone. Letting go of the future you imagined together can be painful.

But girl,

If you truly believe that God has good plans for you, why have you concluded that your best days are behind you because one relationship ended?

What if the life you keep grieving is not the life God has planned for you?

Your ex may have moved on. He may even be married and living a life that looks beautiful from where you stand. But his progress is not proof that you have been left behind.

His story is not your timeline. His marriage is not your deadline. And his happiness is not evidence that you have lost your own chance at happiness.

Please, don’t spend your life mourning a future you cannot recover while neglecting the future you can still build.

You don’t have to pretend it doesn’t hurt. You don’t have to rush your healing. But you must give yourself permission to heal, to grow, to live again, and to trust God with what comes next.

My husband was once my ex. But your testimony doesn’t have to look like mine for God to be faithful to you.

Sometimes, moving on is not about losing the person you love. It’s about refusing to lose yourself over a relationship that has ended.

Sis, take your heart back. Let God heal you. There is still life beyond this heartbreak. ❤️

You will be okay.
