One year ago, I started a journey I never thought I’d take becoming a hairstylist. I never imagined doing hair would become one of the biggest blessings in my life. Over this past year, while maintaining school dance, modeling and still working toward my goals, I’ve grown in ways I never expected. I’m so grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every opportunity to build bonds with my amazing and loyal clients. Being a stylist has allowed me to do more than just hair it’s given me the chance to be a therapist, a friend, and a source of confidence and care for others. I’m truly thankful for the constant love and support from my mom, who has been my biggest cheerleader from the start, and for everyone who believed in me. To all my clients thank you for trusting me and growing with me. I’m so blessed for the flourishment, and I know this is just the beginning. There’s so much more to come, and I can’t wait to continue Journey.

People always ask me, “How are you going to balance running a business and going to college?” or tell me I have to choose one. But college has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Even while expanding my business in Atlanta, I’ve been able to maintain balance, travel, college and continue servicing my Baltimore clients. I’m so grateful that I get to grow in college while still doing what I love!
