Friends were such a big part of my life in NC. They encouraged me to keep going, were there to make me laugh, showed up when I needed them. I will never forget those people and how much they meant to me (and still do). Moving across the country in 2011 was a huge shock. Making friends wasn’t easy. There were a lot of lonely days. Then somewhere along the way, I started pursuing things that made me happy. And it led me to eventually meet some of the most incredible humans I could ever imagine. This past weekend, we gathered to celebrate my birthday. I can’t remember a time ever in my life where this many people showed up, just for me. And in a silly costume nonetheless 😉 I love you all more than I can convey in a few words. Thank you for being in my life. Grateful. ♥️ by @thejuicebox
