Gone are the days when I used to brace myself whenever life felt a little too good because surely something terrible had to happen next.

I spent so much time preparing myself for what could go wrong that sometimes I wasn’t fully present for what was going right.

I don’t live like that anymore. Life isn’t perfect and I don’t need it to be. I just let the good days be good now. I enjoy them. I thank God for them. And whatever tomorrow brings, I’ll meet it tomorrow. ❤️ by @thejules.baker
