Unpopular opinion: You do NOT need to be posting on your social media feed every single day. In fact, I wouldn’t recommend posting more than 6 times a week. And before anyone comes for me, this doesn’t include stories…. In my experience managing social media for businesses across different industries, I’ve seen accounts grow with just 2–3 intentional posts per week. Can 5, 6, or even 7 posts a week work? Absolutely. But only if you actually have the content and strategy to support it. But a lot of business owners get this wrong. They hear they need to post every day, so they start posting just to post. No real direction, no purpose, no thought behind what they’re putting out. And MORE CONTENT doesn’t automatically mean more growth. Every single post should have a purpose. Whether that’s building brand awareness, educating your audience, creating engagement, establishing credibility, or driving conversions. Your content strategy should be mapped out every single month. You should know WHAT you’re posting, WHY you’re posting it, and HOW it supports your overall business goals. Posting consistently is important. Posting intentionally is what actually makes the difference.
