It's really never too late to follow your passion (destiny) that God has given you! My destiny is to discover what it means to be a complete musician.

This teenager -- affection ally known to me as "Jellybean" -- never ceases to amaze me! Tihun had to give a Golf presentation in order to possibly win sponsorship of $1,800. Well...Tihun presented so well that she won $2,500.00!!! The judges loved her AND her presentation!! (I hate I missed per gigging in FL.)

Congratulations, Tihun Chapman!!! Mom and I love you!!!

1st half of cocktail music done with "Big City Rhythm" band. Success! Cory Raymond handling drums! by @thekenpack

Sooo...what had happened was...my brother, Richard, was adamant that I posted his vid message that's addressed to the rest of our fam and friends.

As the vid explains, Richard is currently in an emergency room in Wilmington, NC. He's fine!!

However, what the vid does not quite explain is that on Mon. (3/20), after doctors determined Richard had pulmonary embolism, he was flown to hospital in Wilmington to have an immediate, emergency procedure performed to break up a "significant" blood clot in his chest.

However, by the next day (3/21, when I arrived), the blood thinner Richard had been taking intravenously (since 1st day) had finally shrunken his "significant" blood clot in his chest. As such, a medical procedure was NOT necessary to be performed.

Another gig in the books with "Big City Rhythm". Guest horns were Chenitha Reddick (trombone) & Zdany Chisholm (tenor sax).

It's too much to write down all that captures my feelings. In short, I still consider it an honor & blessing to perform with musicians who possess certain musical skills I've not yet obtained. I thank God for experiences like today. It was an excellent day & weekend! by @thekenpack

"The Throwback Band" threw down! Fun gig! by @thekenpack

Happy New Year! Blessed to be playing with Spurgeon McWilliams and Gerren Bell in "Block Party Experience" band! by @thekenpack

The covered tent has heaters. But...it's so cold, I covered my instruments between sets. Still, I'm very grateful to be performing with The Answer Band, and Rory. by @thekenpack
