Chris & I met four years ago on New Year's Eve - two strangers seated next to each other playing blackjack - in a sea of thousands of people inside The Cosmopolitan waiting to ring in the new year.⠀

I admittedly wasn't very good, and quickly lost all my chips - he silently kept sliding me his until those were gone as well. Our money spent, and flirtation in the air, he asked to buy me a drink. I said yes. Drinks turned into dinner, and that night quickly turned into two, neither one of us wanting to leave the magic trance The Cosmopolitan seemed to hold over us.⠀

When it was time for us to rejoin reality, I remember him asking "Will I see you again?" - myself cheekily replying "Maybe" - knowing full well the smile on my face gave away an obvious yes.
I've said yes to everything with this handsome stranger ever since - and on December 31st, 2025 - exactly four years after we laid eyes on each other, I said yes again - yes to forever.⠀

After a nine day engagement, we were officiated and serenaded by Elvis in a sweet little 15 minute ceremony at the iconic Little White Wedding Chapel. Life is made up of those little 15 minute moments that change everything, and I am forever grateful I sat next to him that New Year's Eve night.⠀

It was perfectly us - spontaneous, fun, and so intimate - just like the night we met. After a little bar-hopping and brunch downtown, we drove down The Strip and checked into The Cosmopolitan. We got to recreate the magic we shared those first two nights - starting with a game of blackjack.⠀

Finally home from the last flight I'm allowed to take in a little long while... and sitting at home reminiscing on 2025..⠀
I wanted to finally share some snapshots from some really special moments the last half year..⠀
The last six months have turned my life upside down in the most incredible, intense, exhausting way, and I feel so blessed, tired, and especially grateful⠀
⠀
We moved homes in Las Vegas,⠀
renovated a summer home inside-out across the country,⠀
hopped on so many flights I've lost count,⠀
created a tiny little soul together,⠀
and eloped and said "I do" on our 4 year anniversary..⠀
⠀
I am so excited for our little girl⠀
I love you and I love our little life together @chriswardwell7598 ⠀
Sometimes you get everything you've ever wanted all at once..⠀
I just feel like the luckiest girl ✨⠀
