it's hard finding the words to describe exactly how it feels knowing that it's finally here. nervous, excited, a bit relieved? it has been a long time coming, and while the wait at times seemed agonizing, i wouldn't have wanted it any other way. along the way we learned so much about ourselves, not just as musicians or band mates, but as brothers. when you spend as much time as we did working together on something so personal, you come out feeling like you've known eachother your whole lives. and i am lucky to have had that experience with these two, two of the worlds finest, most talented people to grace not only this scene, but the entire world itself. it's a crazy feeling, sharing an idea with someone and having them understand it as if they thought it up themselves. that is my daily experience. and as i said before, i wouldn't dare have it any other way.

we want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. thank you, @rosajamesmusgrave for allowing us to practice in your home well into the night. thank you @nocrapontap for being such an amazing venue, and for giving us so many shots without a second thought. thank you to all our friends and family who always made sure to come to the shows. thank you, @revbobjames for believing in us. you've always been our fiercest fighter, standing behind us and picking us up when we fell down. and finally, thank you to all of you who take the time to come to our shows and support us. we truly appreciate every bit of your support and we couldn't be more excited to show you the awesome shit we've been cooking up.

these days are far from over, and we sure as shit aren't finished yet.

the best has yet to come.

Our very first single is finally out for you all to listen to. It's been a very very long journey trying to get this out, and I'm proud to say the wait is over.

I wrote this song when I first began navigating life as an adult. I had so many different responsibilites to tend to all at once, from work, school, and music. It wasn't long before I started to ask myself when the struggle would all be over. Little did I know, it was only the beginning.

It's crazy (and kind of humbling) seeing how far this song has come, from writing it outside on my front porch step to nervously playing it at winters for the very first time. Now, a couple years later, we're handing it off to you for the first time ever-- and I'm still just as nervous as I was the day I showed it to the guys! Funny how some things change but still stay the same.

Anywho, enjoy it for now. Because the best has yet to come.
