This face is becoming a problem.

He absolutely, 100% knows how adorable he is. He also knows that I am unable to resist his charms

I’ve learned the hard way that I cannot make eye contact with him whilst eating a snack of any variety…at least not if Pamela is home.

Without proper supervision, catching the eye of this handsome little trickster suddenly turns me into somebodies Nonna. “Oh yes you ARE looking extra skinny right now…here have this sandwich I have lovingly prepared…” 🙄. It’s not my fault, he has some corgi-voodoo hold over me!

Luckily @sunshiney_gurl is impervious to his charms and instead makes him the most delicious homemade dog treats so that I don’t accidentally love him all the way to an episode of my 600lb pup life! by @thekimberli

I’ve been playing Doggie Daycare for our grand pups the last few days. This sweet, adorable, holy-cow-I-thought-Rooney-had-lots-of-energy girl is keeping me on my toes and constantly cracking up! She has to be part Kangaroo!

As I’m trying to ease into the day with a delightful cup of coffee, with 4 wiggly jealous attention seeking pups trying to get prime real estate in my lap, I’m reminding myself to cherish the chaos and be grateful to be living my “good old days” right now. This week will be for sure a story laughed about for ages 🤣🦘🐾#

This big brave guy had his biggest adventure yet!

We figured for his first trip out a kayak with sides would be better than our paddleboards, so we headed out to Vintage View Adventures to spend a couple of hours on the river. Eeeeeven though the water happened to be “Willy Wonka Inspired” today, it was a super fantastic afternoon! Wrangler did so super well, and while Rooney decided that a swim sounded like a great idea and quickly regretted it, he was as excited to be back out on the water as we were!

A ride with the doors off in the jeep to sniff all the sniffs AND a kayak adventure was a big big day for this tiny guy, but he proved that we most definitely have *two* adventure loving potatoes now 🤭 taken in Vintage View Adventures by @thekimberli

Ohhhh Emmmm Geeee. I am BEYOND proud of these guys right here! (Yes, I’m a bit obsessed and my life is super pup-centric right now - feel free to skip the babble below and just enjoy the cute puppy pics! 🤭)

We are working hard on socializing the puppy to be able to be brave calm and chill in public and greet people in a calm way …in large part because we realized we failed at consistently doing that for Rooney and now he’s a big ole excited scardy cat with less than great manners.

Today was Wrangler’s first trip in public on his own 4 little feet. (He’s still got 2 more weeks before he’s fully vaccinated, so we made sure to wipe down the cart and any place he might touch). He did sooo well! Every time he turned away from the distraction and looked to me he got a tasty little treatle. Those big scary Halloween decorations and loud machines were no match for this brave boy! Clearly there’s a reason that his middle name is Thugnificent! 😎

Even more impressive was how well Rooney and Pam did!!
When you have pups this cute it’s reeeeally hard (and you feel reealllly mean) to tell people they are in training and please don’t touch them, I was so grateful that all but a couple people were really sweet and respectful of it. Our excitable impulsive guy didn’t bark a single time, walked by soooo many people ignoring them and only focusing on Pam, and the two people *we asked* for a greeting he walked up calmly and sweetly said hello 👀 Who is this pup and what has he done with Rooney!

This was also a great opportunity for Pam and Rooney to both see that he can and *will* listen to someone other than me. I’m sure it shocks absolutely no one that I am the “Stern Mom” and Pam is the “Fun Mom”. I also have the privilege of working from home and she doesn’t, so the pups have more practice having to listen to me and getting to play with her. It may have taken two tries, but they both built gold confidence stars when he stayed in a down as she stepped away several times ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yesterday Wrangler turner 11 weeks, next month Rooney will be 2, and these little fellas have captured our whole hearts.

You may see a cute a innocent little froggie friend. In reality, this is a mugshot of the critter that terrorizes my wife every morning. He and his brethren have even infiltrated our house twice and caused much chaos. He lurks each morning just waiting for an opportunity to pounce on poor unsuspecting Pamela and is currently the reason why the puppy couldn’t possibly go outside to potty.
How’s things going in our house? Great, except for Pamela being bullied by what seems to be a full on froggie gang at this point. 🐸 by @thekimberli

Our nephew just got himself a big ole bada** Jeep recently (that has tires I may or may not be incredibly jealous of) and I gotta say, getting to share our Jeepie love with my brother and now our nephew is so darn cool! Bring on the adventures! by @thekimberli
