Baby’s first gear demo! Stoked to score a pair of coveted Octal tubes from @verellendevices for my Fender ‘65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue🙏And even more stoked to report they’ve made my Juno 106 and Hammond SK-1 sound even better and bigger than they did before 🙌 Hopefully this convinces you to nab a pair of these bad bois for your rig ASAP because they absolutely friggin RULE! Like, literally life changing 🤌

@smokeybrights first ever live record, Dashboard Chill, is out TODAY via @shareitmusic! When we decided to premiere Dashboard Heat with two intimate nights at @rabbitboxtheatre, I was secretly hoping we could release the live recordings someday IF they sounded good enough. Lucky for us we hired @salonendavid who engineered a gorgeous live capture of both nights. @andyrecording took those tracks and mixed them into pure magic and @steelvaportrails’ legendary mastery of mastering took em over the top. But wait, there’s more! @tk_mccarty caught the whole thing in a beeeautiful concert video! I am so honored to have so many talented friends in our corner helping this project come to life. Check it all out at the link in my bio. I hope you dig!!!

SWEET BIRTHDAY BABY🐣Turned 40 (!!) on Feb 21st and decided to lean the eff into it with a full week of desert magic 🌵Spent the first few days hiking in Joshua Tree with my Ry guy and then somehow convinced a few of my favorite people to join us in Palm Springs for the greatest pool party of all time 🏊 I’ve never done anything so self indulgent in my life and damn it felt INCREDIBLE!! Here’s to hoping for more fun, friends, cat cafes, sound baths, lemon trees, and celebration in the next decade and beyond🤘

This lil fashionista’s got a big record release show TOMORROW at @thecrocodileseattle!!! So excited to FINALLY get to play these songs for our hometown after months on the road. It’s gonna be one helluva night as we’re joined by the incredible @mikeymoosic and one of my most favorite songwriters @cataldomusic. Be there or be bummed!

Celebrated the man, the myth, the legend, Peter West on this day of his birth at his favorite place @elfarolmexicanrestaurant 💔 I guess you could call it a heavenly birthday, which is a hilarious term to use for a self-described “recovering Catholic”🙏 Ry and I enjoyed appetizer nachos (alway dad’s insistence) and spinach enchiladas in this beloved bright green room that gives those old Seattle vibes that are increasingly hard to come by. So much love for this establishment and its longtime employees who have hosted a zillion family dinners, my dad’s memorial, and, tonight, two weepy fans of PAW ❤️❤️❤️ taken in El Farol Mexican Restaurant by @thekimwest

I’ve fully grown into being a crazy cat lady in the last few years. Whatever parasite they infect us with is deep in my brain, as is evidenced by the smug self satisfaction on my face when the house cat at a loft party in NYC picked ME for scritches 😻

I am ow such a cat person that, almost unwittingly, both of my upcoming Seattle shows have cat themed posters made by the incredibly talented @andrewrawrtinez 🤌

THIS WEDNESDAY 11.26 (Thanksgiving Eve!) @itsmegacat shreds @tractortavern - our biggest headline play yet! We’ll be playing some new tunage we’re working up for our upcoming record and generally shredding the gnar 🦃

THURSDAY 12.11 @smokeybrights is celebrating the release of our fifth and finest LP - Dashboard Heat - with a special hometown release show at @thecrocodileseattle 🐊We’re just back from five weeks out on the road and I can confirm the band is HOT FIRE right now 🔥

I’d honored to see ya at one of these upcoming gigs. Unfortunately our cats won’t be in attendance, but I’ll be there playing my human heart out ❤️
