When I first came to Boys’ State I just had a feeling these would be the most miserable days of my life and I was like I don’t know why I’m here or why i signed up for this but after spending time with these men I really grew to enjoy this experience. I couldn’t ask for a better group even though we were all different in many ways we still managed to make magic happen and although we didn’t win much, winning the basketball championship was the spark in our city. The best moments were when they hyped me up when playing Narco even when it sounded bad I just want to thank my counselors Theo, Brockie, and Big Daddy Daniel for showing us that we can be more than what we were putting out day 1 and 2. I’m really proud of my boy @grantduvall13 for winning Secretary of State he worked really hard for it and @nic_g_blume he really was the heart and southern grandma we all need “Sweet Tea Nic put some ice on it” and all my other brothers I’ve made this week like I said last night a house doesn’t make a home it’s the people you are with and that’s where home really is and these guys really gave me a new home and I’m very thankful “go mighty Wateree go go mighty Wateree” taken in Palmetto Boys State by @theking__bigo
