✏️
I used to feel like a knife
cutting through the soft butter.

Like I’m supposed to be here,
anchored, amongst all of the things
blurred by long shutter.

Now I feel like a human,
kind of, in the wrong place.

In a city that loves me,
so it picks up a pace.

So it pushes me out,
makes it harder to breathe.

With every squeeze
I become more distant,
more lost,
filing for remorse,

and not getting a response
from the Universe.

Preparing to step out big
is a gig
with no plans, no outs or ins.

Trying to stay the same
is a game
with clear rules, yet nobody wins.

I came here four years ago:
one suitcase, one love, one dog.

I followed a pull of my own
and I’d like to recall,

what it feels like to know

It takes guts to invest your time and energy into something you love.
And when people do it with chill vibes and no ego? That’s exactly who I want to collaborate with.

Over a year ago, I met @_docus_ , a two-man band making enchanting music. Now, we’re about to drop a music video I had the joy of directing. Soon!

The song is just right for the summer ahead: easygoing, full of warmth, and perfect for soundtracking your next adventure.

I want to have a person by my side
obsessed with my happiness,
willing to do anything
just to make me smile.

I want to be that person by my side,
who stops a striking hand
when I am vulnerable. Stands
by me when I’m down.

Who offers me support,
money, advice, connections.
Creates a good type of distraction
from that deep and anxious void.

I’m unemployed.
Yet they will tell me I’m still worthy
of love, nice things, sweet dreams
and yummy treats.

I’m in despair.
Yet they will tell me it’s ok:
everyone comes through here and I don’t have to stay.
Besides, it’s just a phase.

I want to be this nice, supportive presence.
A voice, a picture, in a sense,
a figment of imagination,
a nice-to-have hallucination.

And that requires action,
self-affection,
motivation.

And it brings the same:
more action,
self-affection,
motivation

Where do I get it, though?
You know,
for a down-payment?

Is it like a loan?
From my own
fund of future funds?
From me in a year or five,
When I have a ton
and can gladly share?
