ANNOUNCING... CRAFT WITHOUT PAIN, the book and PREORDER. I am so so so excited to announce my first book! This project has been a labor of love for the past year, and something I distantly dreamt of but never thought would happen. I wrote this with YOU in mind - the size is meant to fit in your project bag or live in your crafting corner at home, so that you can easily reach for it and reference. If you have ever taken any of my classes, it takes those principles and expands further. The first half covers posture and ergonomics, and breaks down the body into parts and further explains what exercises will improve your aches and pains. The second half is putting those principles into action - there are worksheets to help you identify your goals, plan an exercise routine, and track progress. For my US friends - a preorder is open NOW on my website. The book will be published June 16, 2026 - but books from my preorder will begin shipping before that, likely in May. If you are international - the book is available for preorder on big box sites such as Amazon or any good bookstores. My website will be updated accordingly with more places to purchase the book as we get closer to release date. WRIST & HAND CARE KIT I am over the moon to announce my latest product launch! I've spent the past half year testing and curating a line of products to include into my Wrist and Hand Care Kit. I truly believe that these tools will help decrease aches and pains, stabilize aberrant movement, and strengthen your wrists and hands. I've taken past feedback into consideration and am happy to announce that all the products are latex-free! This kit is great if you are looking for some help to strengthen and massage your hands and wrists. Here are the items included: - Wrist Restore brace. It allows for a decent range of motion at the wrist, but still lends stability and some external feedback to prevent hyper-movements of the wrist. I recommend using this brace if you are having pain while crafting, and need some assistance to control your wrist. Details on what size to order will be on the listing page. - Mini Massage Balls. These balls are 3cm and 4cm in diameter, and are made out of silicone and latex-free. They are just as hard as my regular sized massage balls (which are between 6-7cm in diameter for reference). The small size of these balls is perfect for massaging the small intrinsic muscles in your hands, and the muscles in your forearms. - Theraputty. The putty is made of silicone and the two colors are different resistance levels; yellow for x-soft and pink for soft. Squish and manipulate the putty between your hands to strengthen. The putty has very little scent to it and does not leave a residue on your hands. All of these items are packaged together in a logo cotton drawstring bag. The kit will come with a printed instruction sheet, as well as a QR code and password to the page on my website with complimentary videos showing how to use each item. The kit retails at $45 with shipping. Shipping begins at $5 for US residents and $15 for international. Any shipping overages over $1 will be refunded. Andrea will be on hand from 1-4 pm signing copies of her book and she will be doing a discussion and demonstration of streching tecniques designed with crafters in mind at 1:30 with a signing to follow. After the discussion and demonstration, there will be a crafting circle held in the music department. Please bring your knitting, crochet, sewing, and other small Works In Progres (WIP) with you. Chat and mingle with other crafters and put these new tecniquest to the test! Whether you're knitting, crocheting, spinning, dyeing, or weaving, crafting can take a toll on the body, this practical guide offers targeted advice to understanding the physical strains of crafting and how to prevent them — so you can keep doing what you love without discomfort or injury.
