... दोस्तो इस कविता के माध्यम से
मैं उस स्त्री के अधूरे ख्वाबों समेत
उसके वो प्रशन लाया हूं
जिसका जवाब अब चीख-चीख कर
उसकी वो राख मांग रही है,
और बोल रही है की
मेरी नसीब लिखने का हक
इस समाज को किसने दिया,
क्यों जला दिया मेरी चाहतों को ।
क्यों उड़ गई सांसे मेरी ।
कसूर थी कैसी मेरी ??..
दोस्तो इन प्रश्नों को सांझा करना ना भूले,
ये प्रशन इस निर्दई समाज तक पहुंचना चाहिए
ताकि फिर किसी परी के पर ना जलाए जाएं,
ताकि फिर किसी स्त्री के ख्वाब अधूरे ना रहे,
ताकि फिर किसी स्त्री को
पुनः ये प्रशन ना करना पड़े ।
कसूर थी कैसी मेरी ?

मेरे इस कविता के माध्यम से मैंने उस मां के दर्द को बयां करने की एक छोटी सी कोसिस की है जिसकी एक प्यारी सी बेटी थी किंतु इस जालिम जमाने ने उससे उसकी बेटी छीन ली।
