Wee lil update about my autoimmune disease, a lot of people make fun of gluten free etc so I thought I’d just show some pics of what happens to me (along with extreme itchy ness and fatigue) when I come into contact with something mislabeled or had something I can’t eat. So when you’re with your celiac autoimmune Hashimoto’s friends I know it feeeeels like when someone says “oh I’m gluten free!” And has no clue what that means (it’s a protein and it won’t change the calories or be healthier unless you have a disease) remember that if this is what it looks like on the outside of my body within seconds imagine what’s happening on the inside like it may look small to you but it’s an immune response within minutes and thus the intestines stomach and more are suffering more egregiously to cause this fast of a response. For some reason for me whenever I eat something with gluten or onion my knuckle flairs up bright pink! Symptoms within the body vary, but sometimes people need a physical manifestation to believe in it. So here is my physical manifestation of “gluten free not being gluten free” I hope this helps some make fun of a few less people. The larger consequences turn into vomiting but obvi not gonna show anyone that taken in Los Angeles, California by @thekopykatkiller

Hello everyone as you may know, I had major knee reconstruction surgery 3 years ago. I had for the past two years extensive pain in the knee until recently my hip began to lock out of place and I was falling over. Finally it was time to go back. This was experimental as on the scans they saw fluid but couldn’t see the tear. I had a ”blind tear” which couldn’t be seen on scans. The problem was a large dead meniscus they cut out and missed during the first surgery. Never accept no for an answer and always push for what you need. They said had I not done this it would’ve been a permanent issue moving forward. Finally I feel relieved to move forward, swim, apply myself to powerlifting, and HOPEFULLY Brazilian Jiu Jitsu again! A big fear for me is careful training partners and such so if you’re interested in being my partner when I take the leap and come to class that would help me with my injury based PTSD. Thanks again!! Love you all. Def was high on morphine in this picture lol, the apple juice and crackers hit different after surgery. by @thekopykatkiller
