I felt the need to share my experience working for Oliver Tree.

I was a young depressed 21 year old film maker during the pandemic when I was given the opportunity to work on the team. I felt my career would never be the same after.

I resonated very much with his art even before I started working for him. Specifically his silly and chaotic character that he created.

I remember listening to his alien boy EP when it came out in 2018. I was able to tell him in person that I was a fan since then.

I’m thankful to have been apart of a small part of his career.

Special thanks to his team for having me dive into the world that he had created.

In April, @joshuaonenineproductions took me on a last minute trip to Kenya to help document an ultra marathon raising money for a hospital being built there. The runners covered 200 miles in just 3 days.

Josh asked me to join a little over a week before we left, and with my spontaneous nature, I said yes without hesitation.

This was my first international flight out of the U.S., and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Watching the runners, their coach, the local community, hospital staff, and the film team all work toward one shared goal for the future patients of the hospital was beyond inspiring.

Josh started his nonprofit, @wygfoundation, less than a year ago, and what he’s built in such a short amount of time is truly extraordinary. It’s something I’d absolutely encourage others to look into and support.

I’m currently editing the documentary and excited to share the story

Shout out to the film team and the @wygfoundation crew:

Last month I drove 20hrs to @creatorcamps film fest in Austin Texas.

There I met some of my favorite Internet creators and many other like minded film makers.

If we met there and you’re reading this, thank you for being very friendly. Hope to connect again soon!

I’ll be sharing my interviews from the festival soon 🙌🏻 taken in Austin, Texas by @thekylereed

“Impact” - Music Video - Link In Bio

A few months ago I filmed my first music for my solo music. For years I’ve worked on countless music videos for other artists. Some big, some small.

After all those years of helping others bring their music videos to life, I took all those lessons and applied it to this project!

I’m very grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Earlier this year I met @salterofficial at an open mic and became a fan of his music. I told him I was a film maker and offered to help make his music video and it ended up being one of my favorite videos I’ve created. One of the highlights was having the opportunity to co-direct with my best friend @katieannsvisuals

The past couple years I’ve edited some videos for @olivertree. He just recently played a show at red rocks in Colorado and some of the things I helped edit were played at that show! I am beyond thankful and feel honored to be apart of this huge turning point of his career! by @thekylereed
