Physical media collector, especially horror. Sharing my thoughts on the movies I watch. Movies, games, figures & books.

Hellraiser (2022) 4K steelbook from @turbinemedien. This is a really nice looking steelbook, the spot gloss on it makes it even nicer in person. As for the movie, I like it. Took a bit to pick up but once it does it’s an enjoyable Hellraiser film. Pinhead here is a little closer to the way they are described in the book The Hellbound Heart. No one will obviously ever come close to @officialdougbradley as Pinhead but this is a better portrayal than the two previous movies (Revelations & Judgment). I think it’s worth a watch & I liked it enough to import this 4K steelbook of it.

Hellraiser Revival for PS5. I never thought there would be a Hellraiser game let alone an actual good one but @saber.games have delivered just that. They even got @officialdougbradley to return as the iconic Pinhead. This is a must play/own for any Hellraiser fan, the game has such wonderful sights to show you.

October is here & it’s the time of year I revisit some of my favorite books as Scary Stories to tell in the Dark. Here we have the 4K steelbook of the movie (which I also enjoy) along with collection of the 3 books with the original illustrations. Even all these years later these books still remain creepy. If you haven’t read the books or seen the movies I’d recommend checking them out.

Star Wars episodes 1-6 on 4K with slipcovers (which are really nice). What can I say about these that hasn’t already been said? I love all 6 of these, with my top two favorites being Empire Strikes Back & Revenge of the Sith. I can always throw these on & have a good time.

Punisher War Zone Lionsgate 4K steelbook. Has the usual Lionsgate outer plastic sleeve & some really nice art on this one. Got when they “found” some more in the warehouse finds section of the site. Ray Stevenson was good as The Punisher & Dominic West just chewed up every scene he was in as Jigsaw. It’s a solid action movie as well. Glad to have this steelbook in my collection. Now if only Lionsgate Limited could “find” more 4K steelbooks of the 2004 Punisher movie with Thames Jane.

Spirit Halloween’s Black Phone Grabber mask. Missed out on it before but glad I was finally about to get one. It’s a nice looking mask, the pieces have small magnets that allow them to click together. The box is a lot bigger than I expected but it’ll make a nice looking display piece.

With spooky season fast approaching, thought I’d share one of my favorite modern horror game series, Dead Space. I’ve enjoyed every entry (yes even the 3rd one has some good parts). Also played all the story DLC released for the original games. If you never played any of these & love horror games definitely play them.

Dead Space (Xbox 360)
Dead Space 2 (Xbox 360)
Dead Space 3 (Xbox 360)
Dead Space remake (PS5)
