Another Strade Grigio in the books.
Thanks to everyone who came out and took apart in the ride. What an awesome day!
Good friends, Pink donuts, blue skies and crisp IPAs… I’m not sure I could design a better way to spend a Sunday in March if I tried.

Huge thank you to those who made the day extra special

@elevenspeedcoffee making sure our caffeine levels never dipped below 90%
@quocshoes making sure my feet always look fresh but also supplying those delicious” high carb” donuts at the start.
Finally- to those who rounded out the day in style I hope you enjoyed a glass or three of one of @whistlebuoybrewing many new beers. 🍻

Last weekend was my final “event” of the year- I think by rough count this was the 12th Last ride.
A lot of records this year
- biggest turn out
- longest distance
- latest date
- by far the warmest weather
- most climbing(for the fun ride…sorry about that)
For me it’s always a special day. The ride was born out of my friends and I coming together YEARS ago to hang out for a weekend and do something dumb in questionable weather. The Last Ride was born.
I’m stoked to be able to share that experience with so many people each year.
Huge thank you to all those who support the ride and make it so special for everyone taking part.

SEE YOU FRIDAY?
always a good idea to test out your weights before the main event! This time of the year Fridays are getting pretty full with Christmas parties so we had to get creative, no one loves a pre-Dan ride more than I do 😵. But hey, any excuse to get out with some friends right? Oh, did I mention we’ll be riding parts of next weekends fun ride course…😏
Rolling from switch bridge at 6 AM sharp. So, if you’re like me give yourself a little bit of extra time to be there before 6!

I’m stoked for the opportunity to share with you the film @stirlandraemediahaus and I created from my big ride back home this summer.
@schwalbetires have offered to host the film next Wednesday evening with doors opening at 6 PM and the show beginning at 6:30.
As an added bonus we also have special guests from @quocshoes - @danni_shrosbree and @bradleyfelix to share their Badlands story as well. Our space is limited for the evening so please sign up with the link attached in bio.
We are asking for a $20 donation with all proceeds going towards @tripleshotyouth.

Lots of things to celebrate this Monday. Amongst them, it is fall equinox or the last day of summer(?), I’m not sure – do we celebrate that? If you haven’t heard the exciting news, @bicicletta.cc and @broadstreetcycles have come together to become one amazing shop spreading two incredible Cycling communities between Victoria, Vancouver Island and Vancouver.
Also in case we need another reason to go for a cool bike ride it happens to be the last ride’s birthday.

Since things have become a little bit more corporate we will have an official sign-up sheet and info on that coming soon but here’s the information you want to know
Meet at 5:45 Monday, September 22 at Broad Street cycles.
Rolling at 6 PM-ISH.
Duration roughly 2 hours
Pace: fun?
You can probably guess where we end up at the end.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, celebrating some awesome things and going for a fun ride.
Dust off those lights! It will be dark when we finish.
