Big milestone achieved! I’m now officially a certified MSUK coach after completing my Level 2 in Motorsport Coaching. This has been a fantastic journey, deepening my knowledge and skills to better support drivers at all levels.

Coaching has always been a passion of mine, and this certification reinforces my commitment to helping others improve their rally skills, develop their confidence, and achieve their goals. Whether you’re just starting out or pushing for the next level, I’m here to help you get there.

We are European CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A class win and 7th overall here in Sanremo has clinched us the Category 3 title in @fiaehrc

Huge thanks to everyone at @walesmotorsport for running - and building - a fantastic car. It’s fair to say we proved what the old girl can do! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Thanks also to @dale_furniss for sitting beside me for our European campaign. Next week we’ll each fight for the British championship, may the best man win 😉😅

I’ve really enjoyed my season in this championship: they’re great stages with a really nice atmosphere 😎

Who says you need the latest machinery? 👀

The Escort is holding its own against the more modern cars, running strong stage times and mixing it with the Grp A and WRC cars

Yesterday was about showing what the car was capable of. And what a car it is! 🙌🏻

Today is about getting it home and taking that European title. 🏆

After a lengthy re build, it was the TLE Mini R53’s first outing as a training car yesterday in the hands of @aa_pinder

First time out on a Gravel stage, but he took it all in his stride. All the base work was covered, and going forward its time to work on perfecting the techniques and building the speed.

New to gravel rallying? Or rallying in general? Why not do a days coaching with me in the Mini. A cost effective way to learn the tricks of the trade.

When the Teacher was almost beaten by the Student😮

It was close! 😅

This year I’ve been working alongside @dickson_bros_motorsport trying to unlock their true capabilities.

In this case it was @jason.dickson21 who was the student. I’d identified that Jason’s driving wasn’t holding him back, but his pacenote’s were on the conservative side. Luckily he uses a similar system to me, So the idea was to compare my notes with his and to see if that would help and add a bit of confidence.

It’s safe to say he gave me a hard time all day😅
At the start of the season, When I work with someone new, i like to set some goals, and targets for them. Jason’s primary goal was to win a national event or equivalent. Now here he was, about to do it, but i marginally denied him of it! It was a bittersweet feeling to be honest!

It’s safe to say the progress has been good, and that win isn’t far away. 👌🏻

Wow! What a finale!

I’m writing this from my delayed flight home from Sardinia, fuelled by just over two hours’ sleep… but it was worth every second!

All that keeps going through my head is: what an ending! You couldn’t have written that script in a million years.

If you’re Welsh, or an EE&SM fan, it was the outcome everyone has been dreaming of for so long, not to mention Elfyn and Scotty themselves.

A moment in time that I definitely will never forget. A moment where I can say, like so many others:

“I was there.”

It just goes to show, like we’ve heard so many times before, it’s not over ’til it’s over.

One thing I noticed throughout the weekend was Scott’s belief. Every setback, every time things went against them, he never lost hope. There was always that belief that something could still happen.

And somehow, after all the twists and turns of an incredible final weekend, it did.

The emotions at the finish are difficult to put into words. The relief, celebrations, tears and the realisation that after all those years of coming so close, Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin are WRC World Champions.

For Elfyn, after the heartbreaks and near misses over the years, he kept coming back, kept putting himself in contention and kept believing that one day his time would come.

This weekend, it finally did.

And for Welsh rallying, it’s absolutely massive. To see a Welsh driver standing at the very top of the rallying world is something many of us have dreamed about for years.

On the flip side, I can’t ignore the very worthy runners-up in Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson, who took the fight right down to the final few corners.

Unfortunately, there can only be one winning crew, and on this occasion it wasn’t them. “On this occasion” being the key part, there’s no doubt their time will come.

Commiserations guys. You’ve had an incredible year and should be very proud of yourselves. 🙌🏻

Congratulations Elfyn and Scotty.

Sitting in today @kalum.graffin

Worked on a few techniques to try and improve the feeling on gravel. With the Final round of the @fiaerc coming up in a few weeks it was good to experiment and hopefully unlock more potential going forward.
These Rally3 cars are just a great bit of kit.

Make sure you go and vote for Kalum in his quest to win the Rookie of the year award, alongside co-driver, and my best friend @rhodri_evans

A new chapter awaits!🙌🏻

Since starting TLE a few years back, I’ve been trying to move forward with the business at each opportunity.

I’d been looking for what could be the next “feather in my cap” when a phone call came out of the blue at the start of 2026.

Here we are in September, and I’m pleased to be taking over the running of Bont Rally Stage. It’s taken a little while to get here but here we are. Having secured my own location for gravel testing and coaching, I wanted to do the same with a tarmac venue and have a venue that would help me grow the coaching and tuition side of the business.

It’s now back available for exclusive hire for rally testing too, with a few changes planned over the winter.
