How it started/how it ended: Great captures of the $10K race by Brenda at No Limits Photography! Crashed in the first corner of the race and blew a tire, went to dead last and ended up winning the damn thing somehow. I'm still floored honestly.

Tim Chainey is not one to share the limelight but this warrants a THANK YOU. His company, Tim Chainey Trucking, put up the big purse money for the Halloween on the Highbanks race this past weekend. It was an incredible gesture from a great person who loves this sport! 🙏

Whenever I go to the flagstand and get to interact with the fans, I look for the kids (and adults) that have a certain look in their eye. I can't explain it, but there is a look of joy and excitement that tells me I should give them a little extra time and attention.

After the crowd dispersed, these two were still hanging around with big grins on their faces. I stayed a little longer to chat with them 1 on 1, and I made the decision pretty quickly to give them a souvenir. For me, this is what it's all about!!! 🥰🥰🥰 by @theleathersguy

This season it seems I've either had perfect weekends, or terrible luck. After three straight DNFs, this past weekend was perfect! I led every lap of the Heat race and every lap of the Feature, on my way to third win of the year. I'm currently sitting 3rd for the Championship at Salina, Top 10 in NASCAR Regional points, and 23rd of 809 drivers in NASCAR National Points.

My claim to fame will always be that I beat the Crown Vic King, William Avila every now and then. 😅

We've got a weekend off before the final points race of the season, then we're off to Indiana for the Crown Vic Dirt Nationals! 🙌

Last night marked my third DNF in a row. Each one came when I was in the top 2. Last night I was leading the race and I had just found my lines and settled into a good pace. My car dropped a cylinder and developed a really terrible noise. I dove into the pits, the boys popped the hood and told me my night was over. I blew a spark plug right out of the head. 🫠 Once again, I'm not upset because of the points or the money... I was just having so much FUN!!! 💔

On a bright note, what a great time I had watching ALL of the Prior kids - Justin, Hunter and Addi - up front leading 20+ cars around the track!!! In the end, Addi took her first Feature Race podium and Justin clawed back to 5th after blowing a tire mid race and having to go to tailback. Hunter drove the wheels off the car literally and broke a watts link bolt, but he was a threat all race long up to that point!

Finally, big congrats to William on another win! Dude just can't lose! But I also want to say "thank you" to him for working so hard to keep my 81 car on the track week in and week out. William feels terrible anytime one of the Blue Crew cars doesn't finish a race, but this isn't his fault. I'm so appreciative of the opportunity and the support he gives all of us.
