Today, I had the honour of accompanying my niece on an incredibly special fundraising walk for the @ppwhospice in Glasgow. Chloe showed unbelievable strength and determination to hike up to Loch Humphrey wearing a 10kg weight belt in memory of her sister Maria, who required an oxygen tank of the same weight towards the end of her life.

I couldn’t be more proud of this kid. Theres donation link in my stories… Support of any kind would greatly appreciated by our family ❤️ 💫 by @theleaving

Last November, CHVRCHES co-founder Martin Doherty and the band’s longtime touring drummer Jonny Scott launched their new project The Leaving with the single “Saved.” Their debut full-length ‘Ultimate Buzz’ followed in April via Avenue A/Futures ✦/Virgin Music, but it wasn’t until this past weekend that we got to see the band take the stage for the first time with their live debut featuring Lo Moon bassist Crisanta Baker at Los Angeles’ storied Gold-Diggers.

To mark the occasion, the band took us along for the ride with a series of candid shots documenting the night. Take a look at those here—along with their personal captions—and visit floodmagazine.com for more.
