In this interview from 2021, @NDNCollective Education Equity Organizer Amy Sazue discusses Indigenous tribes’ efforts to reclaim land and build a memorial on the site of the Rapid City Indian Boarding School in South Dakota, where over 50 children died. “I can't think of any other instances where all three tribes own land together and also were able to come together in agreement on something that is happening off of tribal land or off the reservation,” she shares.
